Nickname/Preferred name: We'll just go with "GoingNowhere" on here, not that anyone calls me that in real life!

Occupation: graduate assistant academic advisor and graduate student in higher education administration

Age: 24

About your dog(s): Boo is a family dog and lives with my parents, but because we got her when I was still living at home, I consider her mine. I'm too busy and broke right now to have a dog of my own, but Boo serves as a great stand in. She's an 11 year old chow mix with a quirky, but calm personality and a love of her people.

Interests: dogs, hiking, photography, artsy crafty little projects, volunteering, education, horseback riding, playing around with cooking, spending time with my family, boyfriend, and friends.

Favorite music: country music mostly. I'm currently really liking "Break up in a Small Town"

Favorite book: I don't know. I enjoy a good novel, but also enjoy reading books about social psychology and non-fiction books about animal cognition that are written for a popular audience.

About your dog(s): Milo is a 10 year old JRT (mix?) pet store/puppy mill dog my parents bought me for my 16th birthday. He has serious fear/aggression issues and stayed with my parents when I left for college, undoing most of his training. I live back with them now but am not Milo's primary caregiver as he would eat my children. My parents also have a 10 year old wheaten.
Interests: kids, dogs, social justice, literature, art & crafts, politics, yoga, meditation, writing. I'm basically a hippie that never got over being an extremely nerdy college student.
Favorite music: odd combo of folk music and hip hop. I listen to sea chanties, Mongolian throat singing, and fetty Wap. I'll listen to most 2000-2010 top 40s stuff. Joanna Newsom, Rob Thomas, Modest Mouse, Brand New, Silversun Pickups, Paul Simon, Carol King, Bob Dylan, Kanye West, The Weeknd, etc.

Interests: Cats - Orecchio (6yrs) and Pigwidgeon (3mnths), numerous guinea pigs, Biscuit the dwarf bunny and a horde of feathered barnyard birds outside.

Crystal -- she's a 6 year old (assumed) German Shepherd x Sheltie mix, and she's the family dog. She's literally the perfect dog for a family; she chills all day, is pretty tolerant to child shenanigans, and is very obedient. She's super intelligent and good at learning stuff that you don't directly teach her; we joke that she is a human stuck in a dog's body. I love her
Hero -- he's a 4 month old German Shepherd x Husky mix, and he's my baby He's the crazy of the family lol, running wild and gnawing on everything. Hyperactive might as well be his middle name. He's the typical puppy haha.

Fable is about 4.5 and an ACDxCorgi or something. I've had her since April 2014 and she is my heart.

Cypress is almost 10 months old and another ACD mix (although she's itty bitty at about 23 pounds). I adopted her January 2, 2016. She's a lot of fun and has a lot of energy, but she's exactly the kind of dog I've always wanted.

Interests: Hiking and backpacking are the main ones. Really anything in the outdoors- kayaking, biking, climbing, SUP'ing, white water rafting. I love dogs and am interested in dog training. I volunteer and foster for a local dog rescue. I also like cooking, playing the ukulele, and watching crime dramas (Criminal Minds, Law and Order, etc).

Favorite music: Twenty-One Pilots, Coldplay, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Death Cab for Cutie, Of Monsters and Men, Modest Mouse, Alt-J, Foo Fighters, and First Aid Kit are some of my favorites.

Watson is a 5 year old basenji. He is my clever boy... so smart, but he loves to use his powers mostly for evil. He is also a champion snuggler and **** cute (which gets him out of a lot of trouble).

Menchi is a 4 year old Shar Pei. One of the most fantastic dogs I have ever had the pleasure to have in my life. Her sweet and joyous nature has convinced even people that normally do not like her breed that she is most awesome!
