Glad to see I'm not the only garden freak on here! I have a big 30x40 plot, and I grow a ridiculous amount of veggies in it. I don't do raised beds, just old skool till-the-ground-in-rows method. I do all veggies, not flowers.
It's already crunch time for me. I have to get my seedlings in the ground by early March if they're going to have enough time to get their roots established before the summer heat hits. That means I have to start my indoor seedlings by Jan. 1. Only two weeks away!
I'm agonizing over my stacks of catalogs. I have to place my seed orders next week, and I'm still trying to decide on my final list. Counting onion sets, I have more than 400 plants in several dozen varieties planned for next year. Fortunately, only about 250-300 of those are going to be transplants.
Seed Savers, Pinetree, and some others came too.
Have you had any luck with Pinetree? I've never ordered from them before, but I'm thinking about doing it this year. They don't have the biggest selection, but they do have some of the best prices I've seen.
