Friend Needs Help(Drug Related)

Heres the situation Eric's sister is really getting into drugs and sexual things and shes only 13. She has already been kicked out of one alternative school for drop outs, dropped all her activities and everything. She is having sex with anyone and everything and doing every drug imaginable. She has been to a bootcamp like thing and been arrested for truancy. Hes really worried about her and so am i. His ex talked to her a few months ago and she said she had stopped but she hasnt and i am going to have a talk with her at christmas. Their parents have tried everything and its not working. Anyone who has dealt with this what do you suggest i tell him?? Everything i can think of is either not pheasable(sp?) or already been done. Im really worried about her

i know but i want her to relize that its going to mess her up before she ends up like i was. trying to do something but she doesnt listen to them not that i would her mom is a joke.

I think it's admirable that you want to help her, Breeze. However, to be perfectly honest, when I was going through similar things at that age, I wouldn't listen to anyone. Nothing anyone said would make a difference to me. The only thing that pulled me out of it was getting Ripley.

I don't know what to tell you, but I wish you luck if you try to talk to her.

Aw, that is so nice of you to try and help Breeze... Coming from someone from that point of view (I don't do drugs or have sex but i've done some other things sexually related with a boyfriend of mine and I am 13 as well) and personally, I wouldn't listen to anyone... eventually I cam to my senses but it was all of my own doing and nothing anyone else said or did honestly helped... I really hope you can get through to her and I wish you the best of luck... You're a very admirable person for doing something like this

I know its a long shot i went through the same things minus the sex. Before i got walker and even a little after i got walker i was HEAVILY into drugs. I know the road and i know that place and the people she is hanging out with and that scares me more then the drugs. Alot of these people are my old friends that really wouldnt take no for an answer. I just hope telling her what i went through and jsut talking it out with her will help. I told him everything that helped me and its not working im thinking of talking to my dad and seeing if she can stay here for the first week of xmas break and getting her involved here with the horses and stuff then hooking her up with someone i know down there that will let her help and ride and jsut give her a place away from drugs.

I think for most young teens at that age, they don't want to listen to anyone. For some of them it takes experiencing something dramatic for reality to finally set in and take over. For some that doesn't even work.

I think it's a wonderful idea to get her involved in something. If she's interested in horses, maybe she could find someone close by that she could help out with them. Or anything constructive to keep her busy that she likes to do. It's worth a try. I hate seeing young people throw their lives away.

Bin there, chances are shes going to want to stay with all her mates, so whenever she comes home with dilated pupils ground her for 2 weeks, she needs to realise how severe this is,

she will probably re-effend and re-offend like 10 times over until she gets so board of being on her own, and just wants to go out, thats what worked for me

Yeah well, till she has something horrible happen like perminant damage from the drugs, or an std, or a life meltdown she wont think of it as bad and will most likely keep doin it, sadly thats how it usually ends up

i know that thats what happened to me. panic attacks so bad you end up in the hospital once a night are bad.

she needs an old fashioned arse kicking from the parents. Something is wrong in the home, children dont just go out and do these type of things for fun.

I wont lie, I've experimented with many drugs before, minus the dirty stuff like crack, tweak, heroin. I never touched those. So i know what she's going through. I just experimented with them and never was addicted. My father told me I would either have to move out if i still wanted to do them, or quit.
Maybe her parents should do the same. It's like a dog, the more you tug the more it resists. Tell her to shape up or her a$$ is not living in the house.

as for the sex topic... at 13 i dont even think i was masturbating =x
I dont think she enjoys it. I think she wants attention since she's not getting it else where. There's something thats triggering this. Instead of talking with her, talk with her parents and see whats going on.

her mom doesnt like me and in all the years i have known them i have only seen their father once. and i dont know all the details with the sex her brother doesnt want to know lol. i mean would you want to get into that with your little sister. lol. but i will tell him he needs to talk to his mom and dad. Its just a very weird family lol.
