freezing kibble???

I currently store my dogs kibble in its original bag(in the cupboard)and use a bag clip to hold it closed. I was just wondering if it would be okay to freeze it in freezer bags instead to keep it fresher. It seems that it would not get moldy or rancid this way. Has anyone ever tried this?

There is no need to freeze it, just store it in a cool, dry place. Freezing it may damage nutrients, especially the particular mixture of fats.
