HI HI HI! Merlin (or duke lol) and I are home :) and beyond happy! It was such a great weekend

A few pictures. Both Toller and I didn't bring out cameras (carry on/puppy bag issues) but here are a couple!

Before we went to the airport we let the pups tire themselves out on a LONG walk (Etta, Ella, Duke and Nina)

He is so big!

Nina and her ears lol

The airport was just too stressful for him lol he took is in STRIDE! Prancing around, saying hello to people, taking the escalator.. he is such a confident chill little dude. Finally just knocked out waiting for our plane

This is my house?

Aren't I cute?

Snorkeling in his toy box

Thank you Amanda for my cute owl! lol I think it's his current favorite

In short, it was a great weekend and I'm so happy with this puppy and to be home. The crew of aussies was very welcoming (and snuggly) it was like aussie paradise!! Lots of butt wiggles! The breeder and her husband were such amazing hosts and I didn't want to leave!!

The more I am around little Duke the more I am amazed. He takes everything in stride. He has been in the airport, a taxi, a plane and took it all with his usual chill playful attitude

More proper pictures soon! but for now, little guy is tired and so am i! lol

Aww that's so awesome! it always feels a little surreal when you first go to see your new animal in person, and wake up to them... I'm getting that feeling just from the pics! How's he settling in with crying, housetraining etc? I'm really glad to hear he's taking everything so well, seems like you got a real nice pup :)

Now, Toller you have to post your update...

Yay, he's home! I saw so many gorgeous Aussies today at the Eukanuba event and thought of you and little Merlin/Duke each time. They're so beautiful!

Lol I am a little oddly attached to this thread.. but will start a new one.

He has been a very good boy so far. We had one pee accident in my apartment (my fault. I wasn't paying attention and he was running around.. he peed on a smooshed paper bag) I think the issue is just that he isn't used to the time it takes to get from my apartment to outside lol
Ran him outside and he pooped (finally. This was like trip #4 in the cold wet rain) and we did a little celebration which he loved and got to play fetch in the hallway and run around my apartment. I can kind of see his little wheels turning when it comes to waiting to go to the bathroom outside lol he really want to please and kind of looks up at me all the time like "yaa? this is good? Right?"

He is already used to being crated/crates to go to sleep so he whines for like a minute like "hey.. I see you! let me out please.." and then settles down very nicely. He likes his nylabone and has a stuffed owl that he chose and is in there quietly with those.

Will start a new thread tomorrow with proper daytime pictures. He has his first day of work tomorrow so that's exciting!

I'm so glad that he was really good for you today too! I thought he would be, but you never know. He's so cute and so boyish. And Nina has that little pink owl too haha.

what. a. goober.
Lol was expecting a rough night.. he fell asleep around 11 and slept like a rock. I have work at 9 so had to wake him up this morning to go pee outside which he did! and now he is happily eating his turkey quarter in his crate

He got to meet my neighbors bengal cat this morning. This huge beast of a cat that walks on a harness! LOL I so wish I had the camera, he loves her! She plays like a dog so I don't think he knew the difference haha we set up a play date for them

He is such a boy! haha at least I won't have to worry about people calling him a girl! He is hitting the awkward stages pretty hard so has these long legs he doesn't really know what to do with haha

Omg. Someday when I get a puppy, I want the Merlin model. LOL. I'm so happy that he's finally home - I've been lurking in this thread for-ev-er!
