Thanks to Redryrottweilers I had recovered my enjoyable walks with Rufus before he passed. I will never forget you for giving me that back.

Anyway on to my new story, since he has passed I don't go on the long walks anymore as I don't like to walk by myself and the little ones (Mini & Teeny) can't walk the long distances. So I was on ebay the other day and found the perfect solution and won the bid for it. I think the girls will love it. It is a doggie stroller, The top, front, and side all have mesh windows so they can see out and the tons of strays can't get to them!! I think they ride in it well, cuz they love to ride in the carts at petco. Here's what it looks like:

What do ya'll think?

I have a stroller as well.
The dog loves it and we have taken her to the outlet stores in it and she sleeps the entire time.
Good Luck

I don't think Chip would fit !!

HaHa probably not Grammy, the weight capacity is only 35 lbs in it. So I am safe as long as neither one of them gains a combined weight of 21 lbs. LOL.

Hubby is already gripin cause Mini has gained 1 lb in a month. I guess I need to stop giving her a lick of PB too when I give Teeny her Meds. Cause I don't see how else she gained it. I know it's not alot, but It does matter when they are such small dogs.

Just make sure that the little ones are getting exercise as well! Maybe do the first part of the walk with them trotting beside you pushing the stroller, then pop them in for the rest of the way?

Looks cute though! You should get some fuzzy dice to hang from the handles or something. :D

I need to get something similar (but larger, and for a bike) for Dakota so I can keep biking long after he's gotten his workout. It's a really good idea, I like it!

RD, I bet you could find one of those toddler ones that are made for a bit heavier load at a garage sale or second hand store for pretty reasonable.

I probably could. I've never looked inside one, though, and I don't know how much tinkering I would have to do with one to make it suitable for a dog. Don't the kid ones have chairs in it with a seatbelt or some similar restraint device?

Don't worry Zoom, I'll make sure they get their excercise, They only last about 3/4 a block and then wanna be picked up. HEHE. I like the idea of hanging something from the handle though, I have a chain that has really small handcuffs all around it. maybe that would work, handcuffs on the mirror are big around here, LOL

That's awesome...I want one of those. I, as you all know, have short legged dogs and they can't walk as far as I'd like to go, so something like that would be really perfect for me to take them for long walks. They'd love it for sure. I wonder how much something like that would cost?

Well I got the girl's stroller in today! They love it. We walked around the block, Twice and rolled all over the yard and played in the house with it. We got home and Mini is sleepin on the couch and Teeny is actually still in it sleeping away!! Rosco tried hiking the ole leg on it as soon as we got outside. 1 quick and loud NO from mom was enough though. I think I may have over did though I am in terrible pain from mid back to feet now. Oh well We where all so excited. I don't know who had the bigger smile me or the dogs!! We won't do so much tomorrow. Mom has to remember her limits. I love seeing them happy though. Rosco even kept trying to walk right in front of it like he was pulling it or something. Maybe he'll stop that if he gets booted with it enough. I'll get pics tomorrow.

My girls are too big for stuff like that :p which stinks because if we're out for a long time and they get tired, we have to leave because I can't even pick them up and carry them LOL.

RD - how big is Dakota? I could never fit Tippy into a bike basket, even if it were large...I'd tip over LOL.
