Aussiered asked me to post this here , because there were a lot of concerned members.

By Aussiered...
I tried and tried to rescue this dog but to no avail and sadly Binn never got the surgery he so badly needed. He suffers still and is used for a breeder. I want to let people know that still the fight continues to rage on to shut down the " GENTLE GIANT RESCUE" which is far from a rescue but is in fact a puppy mill in disguise!!
They act sweet and kind to people who for what ever reason have to give up their giant breeds and what they do is home out the very old ones or the pups for a large non refundable adoption fee and keep ones that can be used as breeders. They have them listed for adoption but when you ask for that one they give a reason as to why it is unavailable and direct you to another one either older or a puppy bred on their property. Binn had luxating papellas ( sp) and was 6 months old and needed surgery very badly. His owner was a member ocf Chazhound and many many members offered to help pay for the surgery or to take him and get it done and place him in a good home. The owner for what ever reason fought with all of us and let him go to Gentle Giants. He has been there now nearly two years. He still has had no surgery and is not allowed to be adopted but will someday when he no longer can make babies. I tried to tell MY IRISH WOLFHOUND this and what did I get from her was nothing but hate. Now I see she is posting about this place and her poor Binn. My rescue is still to this day trying to pull him out and help him and they are also trying to get this over grown fake rescue proven to be a puppy mill and shut it down. Thing here folks is if you or anyone you know is having to rehome a dog or needs to have surgery they can not afford please please do your homework and do not fall for just every rescue because it is true many puppy mills now take on the look of a rescue to take the heat off of them.

Oh no. Poor Binn. I had some kind of hope that maybe he would be lucky, and somebody would adopt him and give him surgery. I guess not. :(

very sad to hear this.

I had enjoyed watching Binn grow up... the whole situation was very sad then and it still is now.

Any idea what had happened to the Saint... I forget her name?

I will Grammy, thank you .

I wasn't a member when all of this happened with Binn. I heard about it afterwards, then reading about the so called rescue...Well, it is really sad.

I love how she says she wishes someone had warned her about GGR. If I remember correctly, a heck of a lot of people did warn her. She didn't want to listen.

I continue to think good thoughts for Binn; I hope he gets the treatment and the good life he so deserves.

I had high hopes for Binn myself. I wish that he could have gotten the care he needed. Maybe he'd be curled up in someone's lap right now content and happy with life if only she would have listened. I remember everyone warning her. I still hope for the best and maybe one day, he'll finally get the help he needs so badly. Poor Binn. :(

Thank You.

I dont feel the need to state my opinions on the issue as I said everything I wanted to say then and it didnt go well.

I honestly hope at this time (I hope this doesnt sound bad) that Binn has passed on and can happily play at Rainbows Bridge... it is horrible to think that he is sitting in pain somewhere in a cage.... he was such a happy looking puppy at the beginning.
