Flight Rising?

Has anyone ever found a "surprise" related set of dragons? Like, you bough one and it turned out to be very surprisingly and randomly related to one of yours?
I had a dragon given to me named Samhain. She had a daughter that I loved (and still have) named Sylphrina. I've only ever had one bad deal with another player and that was when I loaned Sam out to someone for a breeding and they accidentally exalted her : ( I was super bummed. For some reason I was randomly looking through the ancestry of 2 of my dragons who are sisters (Alwen and Idurre) that I bought from a chazzer (Frostfell, I think?) They are both daughters of Nebulae, who is daughter of an unnamed dragon, daughter of Apparatusmicans, daughter of sintara, daughter of Arcadia, daughter of Samhain!
Sorry this was so long... it was just so crazy! Has this happened to anyone else?

If you could bring any two of your dragons to life and keep them as pets, who would you choose? What would they be like as your pet?
For me:
Skylight, because he is beautiful and awesome. I think he and Roxie would get along smashingly. I'd take Skylight to work, he'd walk in like he owned the place, and he'd let the residents talk to him for hours and he'd just set his head in their laps and let them stroke his feathers when they're having a rough day.
The neighborhood kids would always want to play with him, and read him books at stuff. We would teach them about being nice to animals and nature. Skylight would sit outside with me for hours, and the wild birds would all land on him and flit around the yard with him.
For transportation, I could fly in on Skylight if it's not too far away. He's more laid-back, and prefers to stay close to home and wouldn't want to leave the state.
And...
Agni, my Tigger derg. I feel like he'd be a great pet and guard dragon. He'd be Roxie's personal protector and entertainer when I'm gone so she wouldn't get anxious or bored. Plus, our 3am walks would be a lot safer when he could just turn any wild animal/bad person into a crispy critter if they bother us
At the same time, he's sweet and playful with Roxie and Skylight.
I think Roxie would appreciate his ability to fry prey that she catches, lol. I'd have a bit of a job teaching Agni not to turn my wild birds into popcorn finches, though.
Agni would be my long-distance transportation. He would need a lot of exercise, so I'd be taking a lot of trips out of state, slowly seeing as much as the US as Agni wants.

she can be protection and mount in one, and theyre intelligent and have the manual dexterity to be useful, and shes a ginger like me
Luipaard. She's basically my favorite ever. We would go everywhere together. She eats insects and plants, but she would catch food for me and the dogs.
And Miu would go with us. And be our night guard at camp wherever we camped. We would go to all the beaches, and all the mountains and never stay home.
I'm going to cheat too,
Roanoke
And Albanon
Would come with us. Roanoke would help hunt, and I could ride him when Luipaard was too tired.

I asked Maya, the artist, if she'd be able to create her version of Skylight (without his apparel). I mean, I've spent ages on etsy trying to find a few dragon figurines that I wanted, but I never found something that I was like, "heck yes, I want that in my home to show off", y'know?
And so I was having a crappy time after breaking up with my best friend, and I was like, "y'know what, I want to have a real Skylight". Then, after searching for artists who made dragon figurines, I found Plushlike Creatures and decided that Maya could create exactly what I wanted... And holy guacamole, I am blown away. She was great to work with, and I had no doubt that her version of Skylight would be perfect.
I have to say, I completely underestimated her. Skylight looks way better than I thought he would. Am I crazy for having someone create a figurine of my favorite FR dragon? Probably. Do I regret it? Not a bit.
Now I'm just trying to hold off on asking her to re-create my entire lair in clay, lol. BUT LOOK AT HIS ADORABLE LITTLE WINGS LIKE OMFG
