*sigh* I can hear the fireworks from my house. China is suppose to be shooting today, and everyone was anticipating China to be the best. I was suppose to go, until my workplace called me in to go to work, which actually was a mistake on their behalf. They didn't need me, but kept me anyways for 2 hours! So I just decided to come home to the puppy and keep him company :)

To answer the fireworks thing that nobody asked... in Vancouver, where I live, we're having something called a celebration of lights festival or something like that. 3 countries compete shooting their fireworks display to see who has the best creation. Sweden, Canada, and China.

Oh, I LOVE fireworks, but it's been ages since I've gotten to see any. There are a couple of bit displays in Knoxville every year, and we always talk about going, but at the last minute Charley is always too tired . . . so we don't go . . . I may just go on my own this Labor Day . . .

I've got mixed feelings on fireworks. I mean I do love watching it, and the music is awesome. But it's always so crowded here, because my friends and I go to the beach to watch it. So everywhere around us there are people. Last time I went, there were some people blazing up and smoking, which smelled pretty bad. Then there's the after-the-fireworks-walk. They close the streets, but everyone is still bumping into eachother, and some of the more, shall I say, 'annoying' teenagers just shout out random things and pick fights.

I always want to bring my puppy to go, but he'd probably pass out with excitement seeing so many people in one place :D
