Just some nice shots I've grabbed over the past few days. Some action, some portraits, some derp. The usual.

*bounce*

Looking at... I think it was a squirrel.

New favorite portrait.

Missed it!

Slurp.

Dancing?

Going after a wandering bubble.

The smarmy face.

OMG. CUTE OVERLOAD.

I can't pick a favorite!!! The bounce and slurp pictures are fantastic, but the bubble pics are hilarious! Great shots!

The 'missed it' shot looks like there is a stick coming out of his bum and he's looking back saying 'WTH?!?" :rofl1: Oh gosh I must be tired.

Fantastic shots - you seem to really be getting the hang of the 50mm lens. :D

I bought a huge tank of bubbles for Blaze - I need to get out and get some shots of him after seeing these!

Great photos, as always! Finn is so handsome. I am so jealous of all of you who can get good action shots with a prime lens. I can't with either of mine. I used to be able to with my other camera, but not with this one for some reason.

Toller, what is a prime lens?
I've always seen a fixed focal length (so a 50mm or 35mm would be an example) referred to as a prime lens. The guy I usually see at my camera store always refers to them as that too most of the time.

In this case, it means a lens with a fixed focal length, like our 50mms. :)

Some of these were very lucky shots, especially the two bare-teethed bubble shots! Lots and lots of blurry outtakes, too. I was pleasantly surprised that I got those two out of this lens. I adore this lens.

Lizmo, Finn LOVES the bubbles. Some BCs can get obsessive over them, but I find Finn is fine as long as I intersperse bubbles with other play like ball and tug and such, in the same play session. :) But of course, all my best photos tend to be bubblephotos. :rofl1:

Oh, thanks, Toller too!

Yeah, I tend to lean on the side of if he'll come when I call him the first time or look at me instead of the thing he's focusing on (like bubbles for instance), then he's cool and I don't worry about it.

Yup! It's a good rule of thumb. :)

Finn is such a character! I don't think I ever get through one of your threads without cracking up. He's so pretty and handsome and cute and at the same time you can see such personality in him and your pictures. Love him

I need to get bubbles now
