I took the second class when it was FE235 and bought the first as a prereq, then I took the first class when it was DS230. I didn't have the money to take the 2nd class, or I would have. I want to take her structure and motion class too...

Honestly I would take "Teach your dog to sit" (which admittedly Pilot does not know) if Sue taught it. She's a great teacher.

She's one of the few trainers at FDSA I haven't taken classes with yet, and I've heard really good things. I've read some of her stuff online and I like her style.

I'm going to be taking Confo at bronze level as well. I've never taken a Fenzi class before so I'm not sure what to expect. Hoping I can learn something and stay motivated enough to follow along.

Cool! You can watch us :) Assuming we get a Gold spot, but I don't think I'll have a problem if I register on time. Most classes don't fill immediately at Gold.

I always get super pumped about registration day, lol. And I loved precision heeling. Granted, it's the only heeling class I've ever taken, but it was really good for us.

I signed up for Conformation Skillbuilding at gold and Play at bronze.

The confo one is going to be funny. I have done zero work with Hazel, so she's a blank slate. But as far as ring stuff I have a decent idea of what I'm doing.

Then there is another person whose dog already had his GCh by 10 months when she got him from the breeder, but she has never been in the ring before.

We are total opposites! Haha. Should be fun to watch. I have to say, I would not want to be a first time confo person showing a sheltie as a special. Talk about intimidating.

Signed up for Intro to Nosework! Super excited. I think the hardest part is going to be making sure not to contaminate things with the odor :p

I like the little tins with holes in them that they sell. I can stick those almost anywhere or in anything and not worry about the q-tips touching stuff and getting odor on everything.

Any of you that took the prey drive class (or I think any class from that instructor) you have a week to transfer that content to your computer if you want it. (I know a lot of you were disappointed in that class). I guess the instructor had 5 classes she was using copyrighted materials from. And all of those classes and their corresponding Facebook lurker groups are being deleted.

I was just coming to post this here. I was REALLY disappointed in the class and I'm honestly not terribly surprised something odd was going on.

Yeah, I thought the same thing when I read Denise's post about it. There was always something weird about the way that class was laid out and taught.

Wow, I took that class (well, started it anyway and eventually quit because it was so bizarre). It was my first Fenzi experience, and it almost stopped me from doing another class.

However, I'm doing the Shaping class with Sue right now, and so far it's great.

I'm fairly certain that leaving wasn't even up to her. Denise made it pretty clear that it was a big violation of trust- my guess is she got asked to leave.
Wasn't the instructor Jamie Robinson?

If so, it looks like she is still teaching at FDSA this term with the classes "the world is an obstacle course" and assisting (with Amy Cook) in the new class "Dimensions in fear- building confidence". You can still click on her name from the schedule page to see her instructor page. The only classes listed in her upcoming classes are those two which are both from this term.

But if you go to the people tab on the site she is not listed as an employee/trainer/instructor, or her profile isn't visible from that page.

So my guess is she gets to finish up this term with those classes that I guess are fine and didn't have copyrighted material, and then I am guessing she will no longer be teaching any more classes at FDSA.
