I signed up for Intro to Nosework at bronze with Hazel. My goal is to get her on odor and then join local classes at the intermediate level in January. The local classes start training the dog on food, but I want to go straight to odor this time around.

I also signed up for Cookie Jar Games at silver. I usually don't like silver, but the instructor said there will be a lot of discussion and good value for silvers in this course so I'm going to try it. Still not really sure what we're going to be doing, but it's all about impulse control and delayed gratification which is something Watson has always struggled with. Most of it can be done inside which is great.

@Paviche, I took Engagement the first time it was offered and it was fantastic. It really made me re-think a lot of stuff I do. At its core it's simple, shape your dog to engage with you for longer and longer to earn a reward. But the philosophy of it is really good. It made me much more patient. I think it will be excellent for Stitch.

I haven't taken Rally Skillbuilding, but I just finished my first class with Sue and she is awesome and hilarious so I imagine it will be great.

I'm taking Engagement at Gold, and Rally Skillbuilding I with Sue at Bronze. Sue is amazing - and lives a couple hours from me :)

I could barely justify one class, much less two, so I'm only doing Rally Skillbuilding, but I'm really excited about it!

I signed up for Cookie Jar Games at silver and Nosework 101 at bronze initially. Then yesterday I impulsively signed up for Gun Dog at bronze. Not that I actually want to hunt with my dogs at all, but I think one might actually be good at it, and one just needs control outdoors in general, so I think we can learn a lot from the class even if we don't work the exercises closely.

The lurker groups for Cookie Jar and Gun Dog are both really active!
