I couldn't find this while searching.. But I'm sure I had seen a thread like this, so sorry!

But what are your favorite online sites to buy things for you dog? It would be helpful to label what each site is good for such as:

Everything and anything:
Chewy.com
Amazon

Collars:
Paco

Camping/outdoors:
Ruffwear

I'm always looking for something I haven't seen before (to make me think I need it and add to my dog obsession collection) lol.

I prefer to shop at my local pet store where the people know me and Fable (and I get frequent shopper benefits), but there are a few online stores I like.

Karma Collars
Fetching Tags
Clean Run- for anything I can't find in my local pet shop

There are a few more I like, but these three are definitely my favorites.

I also shop at our local pet store because they're awesome, even if they are a bit more expensive than I can find online. I shop and chewy a lot, and clean run too.

I like lupine collars as well.

For food, chews, treats, etc: Chewy and Amazon.

For leashes and collars: small businesses (especially on Etsy!). Favorites include Pear Tannery, Master's Pride, and Stibbar for leather goods; Hamilton Hounds and Dutch & Co. for martingales/limited slips.

Doggyloot, Etsy Shops, Metal Mementos....that I buy from currently. There are a lot I want to look at and possibly purchase from, especially when it comes to collars and such. :)

Me, too. But, for me, Cherrybrook is a local brick and mortar store. I also shop at a small, local place. When I do shop online (if can't find what I want at either of those places), where I shop online depends on what I'm looking for. A couple of my favorites are

K9 Rally.com-Rally signs, etc

All K9- biothane leashes

I shop with Etsy a lot for toys and random dog things.

Cherrybrook and PetEdge for grooming and dog show stuff.

Chewy and Amazon of course. Best Bully Sticks.

Clean Run for toys and other training stuff.

I don't really shop locally that much. We do have one big box store that is a small local chain (Pet Goods) and I go there occasionally.

I just want to say that Chewy has the best customer service ever. I had to call them tonight and they were fantastic.
I totally agree. My best friend got a bag of cat food from them with a hole in it. She e-mailed them and they overnighted her a new bag, cheerfully, no questions asked.

You know, I've heard about chewy's great customer service, and I still use them because they're cheap and I often can't get to a pet store due to work, but I emailed them after I received my second order, because I bought a 28# bag and they sent me a 15# bag. I never got a single response. I was really disappointed, I'm just hoping it doesn't happen again.

Did you call? I didn't even try email, just called and someone picked up immediately.

I did not call. I have a very strong aversion to making verbal complaints about anything - I can't send food back at a restaurant either. It's just a source of anxiety for me and speech problems ensue. So I use customer service email addresses when applicable, since that is what they are there for. I cannot imagine a huge corporation has emails coming to their customer service address going into their spam folder and being ignored, honestly.

When I had a question about returning a product to Chewy I called. Super fast answer, brilliant service, they refunded me my entire purchase price and just told me to donate the food. I don't think I've ever emailed them.

Yeah, this is how my call went. I ordered a crate for the new puppy and thought I could get away with one size smaller than Watson uses. When it arrived it was definitely way too small and wasn't going to work for an adult. She refunded the cost, told me to donate it to a shelter, and ordered me the next size up in a less than 5min call.

Yeah, I said "How do you want me to return it?" and she seemed surprised by the question. It must be a standard policy to not do returns on heavy things. By the time you ship it to the customer and then ship back it's probably a wash anyway.
