What food/meal do you default to when you're hungry? What's typically the first thing you think about grabbing and eating or making?

Mine is scrambled eggs, cheese, peppers, onions and potatoes cut up, seasoned and baked rolled up in a tortilla. Plus some really really good salsa (We have this hispanic place near byish that makes the best Salsa Verde and I by it by the truck loads.).

I make this ALL the time, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Whenever I'm hungry and can't think of something to make I make that.

I basically survive on eggs, toast, cheese and bacon. Because healthy. :p

We get all three of those things from Costco, so they are always available. We have a nice electric skillet, so it's quick to make. I also hardboil half the eggs, so we always have those.

I'm going to die when I'm like 30, I swear. YOLO!

Oh the other thing! I keep shredded chicken in the fridge at all times and when I'm not eating eggs and tortillas I'm eating shredded chicken and tortillas! With some beans and peppers and lots of Salsa.

I basically just build my meals around salsa and tortillas apparently.

I think it's tacos. I get on these bends where I'm like TACOS and then I eat tacos like eight times in three days...

If I don't want to break the calorie bank and don't feel like cooking, I grab a low carb wrap and fill it with either deli ham and deli cheese (and sometimes an egg), or with egg whites, feta and spinach, or with a can of light tuna or salmon and salt and pepper.

Typically with baby carrots on the side.

Or if we have some ground meat or chicken breast, I grill some on the foreman and nuke a bag of frozen veggies.

If I don't care about calories (which doesn't happen much), I'll make some pancakes, or a baked tortilla with cinnamon sugar filled with sweetened ricotta or cream cheese and apples... possibly with caramel sauce and ice cream.

But typically it's been one of the top options lately.

I've been on a soup kick lately. Don't feel like cooking? Heat up some soup. Hungry, but don't know what to eat? Heat up some soup.

Just need a pan (or even a large bowl if I'm really lazy and just want to nuke it), a bowl, a spoon, and crackers. Takes all of 5 minutes to do. Mostly healthy (probably not with the amount of crackers I eat with it), easy to season. SOUP.

I've never had soup.

I love love love nachos. So bad. So good. Organic tortilla chips, Cabot sharp cheddar cheese, organic salsa. LOVE.

I never really feel like eating in the morning, so I go for organic chocolate soymilk. Decent on calories, has some fat, some protein, and some carbs.

Sandwiches......I love sandwiches. They only require one dish which is just basically a transportation device to keep my hands clean, so a paper towel is an easy substitution if I'm feeling lazy.

Quick, easy, no dishes.......love it!

Grilled cheese and tomato soup. Every time. XD
My mom makes this for me whenever I visit in the winter months and it is my favourite!! I never make it myself because I love that it's our tradition.

My go to is sweet& sour chicken with rice but if we mean fast food.. fruits. Clementines at the moment. Or apples with PB melted on them. Or pomegranates. And yogurt with it!

If we're talking about me actually cooking it's usually pasta, tacos, or stir fry. Because all are easy.

I also grab those frozen dinner things a lot too. Amy's are my favorites.

Because I have to feed my sister/roommate, too, it's usually hot pot (because asian, healthy, and super easy to make) or some sort of curry dish (also healthy-ish, easy to make, and cheap).

When I'm hungry and need something immediately I just boil an egg or make a gigantic batch of deviled eggs. I make fabulous deviled eggs.
