Ok, like I commented in another forum in a thread were a person asked me how was Pompadour's show career, I explained that lately we barely have like one conformation show in a year :(

So I was fearing that Pompadour might have forgotten how to behave, his last show was in may 2011 and he is 3 years old now.

Anyways there was an incoming doggy fashion show, even if it isn't a serious event, I thought that would come in handy to make Pompadour remember confo shows in a way.

The true deal is that he indeed has forgotten about how to react in front of loud music, microfone, and the vibration of what the music and microphone makes , he became nervous for a moment :(

But at least I can see that he has showed a huge improvement in how to react in front of a large crowd of people and many dogs, he is curious and wants to play wit the other dogs and he loves when people take pics of him

Here are some pics I'll post more later

Pompadour wit his Prince outfit

Music and dance live! REALLY LOUD and the place was crowed full wit the public, you could barely walk

Time to get into the catwalk!!

He walked fine at start, but because of the loud music he sat in front of the judges (they were at the left side of the catwalk from this angle in the camera) , it had being a long time sincethe last show, so we will need to reinforce his training to loud music and vibration of sound

His prices, a steel bowl, a pencil, bottle to keep water,a measuring cup, treats and a sample of a kibble, is a mexican one called Mira from Bayer

Tired and happy to win those prices.

He's so fluffy no wonder why the toddlers whant to touch him everytime one of them see Pompadour

The end!!

The day was fun, however I'm worried because he stepped back of his fear of loud music and vibration of sound.

This is so hard, I feel like I failed him, and also his breeder.

Awwwww pompadour!! I'm sure he was just nervous, I don't know many dogs that would take all that in their stride!! I'm sure he will be fine :)

He certainly looked good :)

Thank you, too bad they are so few shows, so he forgets sometimes how to behave.

The odd thing is that he is afraid only of loud noises or music that produces vibration.

For example he is not afraid of thunders no matter how loud, fireworks also don't scare him.

But when things that produces vibration he gets nervous his tails goes down and he hunch his back.

For example the vibration sound of big trucks like delivery truck, those armored trucks from the banks, etc .. and the loud music mostly if there's a microphone and big speakers.

I can see how that can be scary. It's not very natural. We have fighter jets flying over our house daily, and they scare the living bejesus out of me. The dogs seem fine with them though

That sounds bad XD the only ones I have heard of those are F5 and they are really noisy, near my house the planes (commercial passenger) pass daily too.

I'm thinking that to help Pompadour it could be a good idea to buy speakers or one of those rockband videogames wit microphone

We get jets, hurricanes and all sorts. The raf train here because we have valleys... Live in a national park, can't have the wrong tiles on the roof, but they can fly planes over the house! People come here to take photos of them. I shout at them :D

LOL maybe it depends in the type of the music, he really like Michael Jackson, the Beatles, Bob Marley :lol-sign: my sister says joking that he only likes music from singers wit long or curly hair XD

He dislikes many of the Lady Gaga songs and truly hates reggeton style, lol.

Wow those aircraft are huge, and they most be really noisy , like the noise that could break glass XD
