We took Aj in to the vet's yesterday to get some medicine for his ear (ear infection).
He was really good, he kept at my side the whole time and acted friendly towards everyone.
But, as my mom was signing some papers, i let my guard down for only 1 second, and what did Aj do? He relieved himself on one of the shelves...
I was so scared that they were going to make us pay for the stuff he peed on, but, thankfully, they said it happened all the time.
But, at least, i DEFINANTLY learned my lesson: NEVER turn your back on an un-neutered male when you are where other dogs have been/are. :D
Well, Aj's ear infection was worse than we thought, we have to give him 4 pills a day and spray some stuff into his ear 2 times a day. Once the pills are gone, we have to take him in agian to get his ear flushed out. Hes doing better, already, though.

BTW, we are going to get Aj fixed once we get the money, ive been watching him closely to make sure he doesnt get near any females.

That is a bit embarrassing!!

I have a question for you though. I see in your signature that he is being trained in many different things, is he a show dog as well?

No, hes not a show dog, i cant register him all the way because his mother isnt registered. He isnt working on all those things at once, though. Right now im mainly working with him on tricks (not listed in my signature). When it is nice and snowy out during winter, we work mainly on sledding, during spring we work mainly on Obedience, during summer we work mainly on Agility, and then we save fall for mainly hunting. I kind of train him in a seasonal routine.:D

I have been teaching my girl Kona to hunt and flush quail. Good time of year for it, they come in flocks up in Virginia. Last weekend we bagged 20 or so birds out of a flock of 50 (if not more), with just me and my uncle shooting.

I love doing sports with Kona. We are doing just hunting for now, but when she reaches 18 months (she is only 13 now), I will be signing her up for agility and flyball as well!

Let me pull the video of Kona jumping some kiddie chairs for you, I'm sure you'd love to see!!

Awesome! Aj and I havent gotten any birds yet, but we are working on it. It's mainly me that needs work, Aj flushed a flock of at least 30 quail, once, but i was too slow with my gun and i missed all of them. lol.

Yes, i would love to see a video of her! :) Ill post a couple of my videos of Aj, too, i have lots of him, but ill just pick 2 of them since it takes about an hour to upload them on my computer.

^Aj following some commands (Gee/Haw, going the direction i point, Speak, Sit, Down, Sit, Speak, and Down, in that order) that im giving him.

^Aj jumping (sorry for the bad aim of the camera, i didnt have anyone to film for me)

^Aj pretending to be a show dog (at about 8 months old).

^Aj jumping some lawn chairs (at about 8 months old). He didnt usually jump that big at that age, but it was the only thing at my friends house that was dog-jumpable.

Ok, i couldnt decide on just 2, but it didnt take too long to upload them.
