This is the NFL mailing address: National Football League 280 Park Avenue New York, NY 10017

I am also going to send a letter by mail. I think it may have more of an effect if they are bombarded with our mail.

I saw today where the NAACP is petitioning to allow him back into the NFL once he's completed his sentence, with the thought that if he's done his time, he should be given the same opportunities as any other criminal who has paid his dues. Now- these are felony charges, so that limits what he would be able to do in normal life. I wonder what kind of policy the NFL has against allowing felons in the league.

Would emailing really make a difference? Do these NFL people really care about what he did to dogs? I think they care more about how much money was lost, and they lost a good player.. sad.

It's a nice thought but it's all about what makes them money..... and I doubt this whole thing with Vick is going to lose them much money at all. And judging by some of the response to him pleading guilty..... they are probably losing more money NOT having him play. The almighty dollar is the bottom line..... so unless it's gonna cost em a lot of money..... they probably won't give a rats patoot what any of us think.

That's true Sparks- but they are also trying to market the NFL as family entertainment. Look at the players who have been suspended for violations of conduct policies. Even the players union backs the league in those cases- they want the "thug" image gone as it reflects badly on all of them, not just the ones who cause problems.

As far as the NAACP goes- they are all about their own agenda. A buddy of mine is a cop, and they are ALWAYS calling about this or that. The other night, they got a call about a loud house party at 4am. They went to the house, there were 200 Nigerians there. About 15 officers from 3-4 agencies responded and several people were arrested. The next day the NAACP was on the horn, saying that they sent only white officers out (at 4am- like they have a choice on who is sent on graveyard shift). My friend said, if you look at the reports, the officers who did the arresting were all black. Of course at that point the NAACP guy went silent.
