Driving home the other night, "Cool the Engines" by Boston came on. This is my all time favorite "Drive Fast" song. So I started thinking about the other "occasion" driving songs.

Staying Awake Song: More of an entire album, really. I used to pop in "Paradise Theater" by Styxx for this.
Sing Along Song: Yes, I know, we sing along to most of them, but I'm talking about your "sing out loud, sing out strong" song. My whole family rocks out to "Sweet Caroline" by Neil Diamond.
Harmonizing Song: You know what I mean, the song where you make up a part, or sing a harmonizing part to the track. Mine is a tie. There is "Blue Moon" by the Marcels, in which I like to do the bass part and "Help Me Rhonda" by The Beach Boys.
The Song You're Embarrassed By, But Sing Anyway: Let's just say that I have a very impressive "Barry Manilow" repertoire :rofl1:

Yes, I'm a nerd :D

Let's have yours. Add categories as you see fit, too.

I listen to a lot of random stuff when I'm driving but my Anti Road Rage album will always be The Blue Album by Weezer. You simply can't stay mad when those songs are on. It's unpossible.

My long-distance-drive-down-deserted-country-road song will always be "Alcohaulin' Ass" by Hellyeah.

Powertrip by Monster Magnet's always a good one, and The Mountain Song (Jane's Addiction) and of course, The Immigrant Song.

Those have all been 100+ mph tested in the Black Car, lol. (DISCLAIMER: Don't try this at home)
