Dog Sports You Probably Won't Try

I love agility, and always hope to be involved or competing in it. I love the complexity and all of the training required.

I have tried/taught Barn hunt and just don't find it challenging (in a training sense, it certainly gets harder the higher the levels) and it doesn't really appeal to me. Plus, my dog finds it pointless

I like to dabble in disc, and will be going to our first comp in a couple weeks. I do enjoy it, but am not terribly creative or good at being the center of attention.


The sports that I do will likely depend on the types of dogs I have (or the types of dogs I have will determine the sport(s) that I do) and I'll try anything once as long as the dog is game!

My plan with Quinn was to try everything. Now, not so much.

I'm not so sure we will do Agility or Flyball. We already do Nosework and Obedience, working towards Search and Rescue and Conformation. Will probably try DiscDogs, BarnHunt, DockDogs, maybe Herding.
