Yeah... They are still my #2 choice, but I thought my odds would be slightly better with trying RRs first.

Im doing a "rare" breed as well (Boykin Spaniels) and its not really that hard, if you do some careful linebreeding, and possible inbreeding (it doesnt affect you in the game) and soon you will have a metric sh!t ton of pixel puppies to brag about

I'm curious to see how this works out. I just got a second dog from the adoption center and somehow his health screen proved even better than my first! 
Neither are perfect, of course, but I'm hopeful that I may be on the right track. Now I just need to think up a kennel name...

Darn it! I started with fcr's!! But I ended up going with Dutch shepherds. Its rather lonely when you're really the only person doing a breed

I'm trying to make something out of my own initials... because I just think it would be nice to sees my name on my dogs... but maybe I'm a dork. :rofl1:

Question! Does the number of times you can adopt from the adoption place reset after a period of time?
I ask, because I adopted my 5/5 dogs when I started out. Four Chessies and the Tibetan. I clicked on the adoption place today for the heck of it and saw it said I had adopted 3/5 total dogs. I don't think I need any more Chessies (although I really, really wish I could get a dark brown bitch...hopefully Warren will throw me the colors I want, even though he isn't the best breeding quality dog), but once I get my Chessie line up and going I'd like to do another breed and if it happens to be rare I'll need to adopt.

At the beginning of the month, if you have used 5/5 slots, you will get 2, so it will drop down to 3/5

Since I'm due to have a baby any day now, and may not be able to check in on my kennel for several days once that happens... what are my options? I don't want my dogs to be impounded.

School starts the 22nd and I am going to have zero time for Dog Dayzz between classes, work, homework, a social life, and my real animals. I've made some progress with my dogs (Just had my fourth generation born) and I really don't want all of that work to go away. So instead of just retiring my dogs and starting from scratch when I have time again, I didn't know if anyone was interested in "buying" the dogs from me and continuing the line. Right now I have 9 dogs (5 bitches, 4 dogs), ranging from 1-6 years old and was going to breed another litter out of Sulty (stud to still be determined). All but the pups are titled in some way shape or form. I've been focusing on conformation, field trials, and hunt tests.
If anyone is interested in any of the dogs let me know - otherwise I'm going to retire them all and just start again when I have the time.
