If you look around and talk to breeders it costs a bit more, but starting with breeder dogs gives you a lot better start in the game. :)
 
How do you make sure its a breedable dog? Can you get good dogs from the adopt store? Or do you have to buy them from individual players? And how do you do that? Sorry for all the questions XD

Breedable dogs vary by breed, some breeds are further along in the game because more people breed them and others are just getting started. I'm not sure where Mals are, but this player would probably be able to help you figure out where to go with them (Dog Dayzz :: Profile for Mani ;; ♥ Malinois!) if you send them a message and ask.

Generally the dogs in the adopt store are starter dogs and aren't going to be as good healthwise (there is health testing in the game) or conformation starts wise as dogs you will get from individual players. You can look for different breeds for sale from individual players by using the 'fetch' feature. You can see all the different options like breed, show quality, for sale, health tested, etc when you search. :)

Dogs are all breedable once they hit 2 years old. You can buy dogs from the adoption center, or can look for dogs for sale by breeders. Although, other players generally do not sell to new players, so easiest way is to adopt.

This is so interesting, but how do I make any money? I bought a dog but now don't have any money :(

Click on walk, and go to the bank. You should have about 7000 there. Also, in walk, there is an "employment center". Go there and choose a job. Then you have to go back in a few days and if the option is there, you can apply for a promotion (that you are gaurenteed to get)

You are given a certain amount of money at the beginning, you might have to go to the bank and withdraw some more money. You can find the bank on the main map.

To earn more money you need to start a career, you can do that by going to the employment center on the map, it's right next to the store I believe.

If you have a facebook and want to pm me you're info I can add you to a ddz group we have on there! It's a good way to keep track of what some of the players are doing litter wise and if you happen to choose a breed on of the members there has they might be able to help you out with a puppy or adult bitch to help you get started. :)
