Example:

Rocky just jumped up on my bed. I told him to get off and he comes up to me - puppy eyes a-gleamin', ears a' movin', he stretches right in front of me and puts his arm on my shoulder and then sort of tries to wrap it around MY arm just before licking my cheek.

I just kind of went 'fiiiine' and he's now comfortably sleeping on my bed, lol.

Anybody else have this happen to them?

Well, when I am in the car, Chloe will lay her head on my shoulder and give me a kiss, and then toss her toy in the passenger seat, and try her best to get me to play fetch while I am driving

and bigdog, Sam does the same thing! exept she's not that gentle with putting her paw on me, she actully smacks it right in my face..

Oh man Rocky's got the worst hand-eye coordination... he's swapped my face with his claws... and that HURTS. But his intentions were good... it's kind of funny it's like try to shake somebody's hand but accidentally slapping them.

But yes, T-Bone does that too. When I am working on the computer or when I'm in bed and she wants to jump on the bed, too, she'll lick whatever she can reach- her favorite are feet- and will move around. She'll give me these big puppy eyes about every 10 seconds and then throw herself on the ground with a loud *flop* and then she'll sigh. And stare at me with big puppy eyes.

Juny does this all the time. Whenever he needs something he just "bribes" us. not to mention that when he does something bad he's got the same way to "deal" with the problem. You just cannot get mad on a dog with such big black eyes

Rocky does the same thing, he gets real low and just starts squirming.

Oh, Kharma isn't called The Drama Queen without reason She does the lick, the flop, the sigh . . . and those puppy eyes . . . . head cocked to the side and ears perked up . . . She's incorrigible. Thank goodness she's careful about the paw. Her paws are HUGE. I've never seen a dog with such gigantic feet! If she weren't gentle and didn't have excellent coordination . . . And then there's the roll over on her back, making Wookie noises, paddling the feet in the air, then stopping just long enough to peek to see if I'm looking, then jumping straight up in the air (think Matrix), bounding over and gently kissing me on the cheek. All this just to lay down next to me and put her head on my lap

omg! Sam is horrible at the puppy eyes. Everytime she wants something she looks at me like she's about to cry...and it work too

When Tira wants to play she'll bring me whatever toy she's wanting to play with and will toss it at me or put it in my lap. Then she'll sit in front of me and look at me like, well mom are you gonna do it or what? Then I feel bad for her having to ask me to play instead of the other way around.

She also "asks" if she can lay in the recliner with you. She'll lay her head on the foot stool part and look up at you all gleamy eyed and sad. I go, ok fine...get up here. That's usually after she's come up and down twice playing with Gunner and I've told her "no more".

They get their way so easily with those puppy eyes. Punishment doesn't last very long, but it is effective. Is it effective for them...or us? LOL

Malakai likes to play "swapsies" if someone has something he wants he'll bring another toy up to them, put it on them then whine like we HAVE to give it to him now that he gave you his toy...goof
