Does your dog watch TV?

Zeus couldn't care less. He doesn't even acknowledge the odd glowing thingy that makes noise.

But Voodoo watches TV. Usually it's animals on the screen that get him interested. When there are animal noises, he'll walk up to the speakers and tilt his head left and right to listen. It's so cute. *awww*

My favorite moment was when Voodoo saw lions on the Discovery Channel. He was on the couch, watching them very closely. Then he sloowwwly started stalking towards them while on alert, head and tail up. The lions walked off-camera, but Voodoo didn't take that for granted. He walked up to the TV----and carefully checked behind it. :lol-sign:

Buddy looooves to watch tv. lol

hubby has actually started to put Planet Earth on for him because Buddy loves animals, heheh. I get such a kick out of it.

The other two cant seem to figure out what the big deal is.

Kassie did at first, before we had other dogs. I first noticed it a few days after she first was here. It was during the Westminster Dog show and the dogs caught her eye. Afterwards I'd notice her doing this whenever a dog was on tv. Once we got Boomer she started doing it less and less and seem disinterested in dogs on the teli since we had a real one home.

Yes, she does. She'll sit on the couch with me and watch whatever I have on. I think she likes CSI. She must be weird because shows with animals do not entertain her, lol.

Milo not only watches the tv, but repeatedly jumps up to go look behind it and see if the things are actually back there.

Jet doesn't watch TV, it makes her sleepy. But Peanut LOVES Animal Planet and show like CSi and Law & Order if the noise really loud. Weird cat... lol

Dodger watches TV if there are dogs or horses on. He ignores everything else, regardless of the sounds... It's definately not the sounds that get his attention. He loves Top Dogs and the "home made" agility videos of himself:lol-sign:

Beezer doesn't but he will react to sounds on the TV....

But Belle does... dog shows are her favourite.

Dakota loves TV. His favorite show is (and I don't know where such a serious dog gets such awful taste) SpongeBob SquarePants. He's also a sports fanatic. But animal shows aren't too interesting to him, unless it's agility.

Dash and Zaphod will both watch TV if there's an animal on the screen. Zap likes watching lions, and Dash likes Meerkat Manor.

Eve thinks it's for chumps and would rather play with her toys while we're all zonked in front of the telly, lol!

Kharma likes football . . . . all I can figure is she thinks they need herding. She also pays close attention to anything with lions, leopards, etc. Must be from her jaguar hunting genetics.

Dance does. She likes pretty much anything and will sit, straing at it with her head tilted. Sometimes she'll even talk to it with her grumbly "roo roo rooo" noises if she thinks it's really interesting.

Milo can't watch dog shows because he tries to jump into the tv, and starts running around like a loon, doing the JRT scream.

He is a big fan of football, however, and also likes any show with blonde women on it. (i swear, this dog has a FETISH. If we go out and a blonde woman passes, he like CHECKS HER OUT, and turns and watches her until she's out of sight).

No, except this one commercial, it drives him nuts. Its a white
terrier dog running around in circles barking, but I can't remember
what they are selling. They must have done it with a real dog
freaking out!

LOL I know. It was adorable. She'd fall asleep for a bit and then wake up for all the cool scenes and watch with definite interest as things explode and people get shot. funfunfun.
