So, yeah, I sing a lot. Humming, belting out random songs in my head.
Millie wags her tail a little bit like she always does when I talk.
But Fable. . .she bounces and jumps and paws me and barks. I'm not sure if she likes it or she's thinking, "OMG! STFU, my ears burn!" Should I be offended? :p

Do your dogs do anything when you sing?

Nope, but he never reacts to anything I do. The most I get is an ear flick and a sideways glance.

But really, he's probably the only one that doesn't go running for the hills when I sing. That's the real reason why I keep him around :rofl1:

Caleb reacts in different ways- he used to whine and groan when I sang along to the radio in the truck. Hhm, come to think of it, it only seemed to me Mirana Lambert songs, so maybe that was the reason. When I sing with other songsin the truck, he just kind of rolls his eyes at me. If I'm singing to the radio/cds in the house, he gets all up and bouncing for the "up" songs, and we "dance" a little.

I used to sing little nonesens songs to him. He started trying to get away when I sang I'm A Little Stink Pot (I'm A Little Tea Pot). For some strange reason, he didn't like being "tipped over and poured out". LOL

I rarely sing, but Bailey's all about joining in with his "woooo woo woo" which I think is funny. Liberty just glares at me (his default response) and Mammoth is mostly deaf so he doesn't care.

Only when I sing their songs lol. I'm always making up songs about the dogs with their names in it and they always get excited lol

My moms dog will howl but only certain songs

If I'm just puttering around the house singing, Morgan doesn't care. LOL

He will react if I'm singing TO him, though. He gets smiley happy wiggly.

Of course, all that is nothing compared to when I practice my clarinet. He parks right under the bell and sings along. :lol-sign:

Mick used to sing when our youngest son played the Titanic theme on the saxaphone. We thought it hurt his ears until the day he came running from the totaly other end of the house to sit infront of our son to sing. I still can't hear that song without hearing Mick sing along in my mind.

My sister's friend's dog can sing along quite while to some songs. Happy Birthday and Hey Jude he can carry on by himself fairly well though. It's actually kind of awesome.

Sam usually ignores me unless I look at him while I sing than he gets all excited because he thinks we're going to do something.

IF I lean in close, and very quietly sing who's afraid of the big bad woof to Victor, his head will dip, and lean against me, and he will take a big breath and let it out, and he will just press himself to my side. The reason is when he came he had terrifying dreams and that is what I would sing to his skinny 5 month old self. To this day, 8 years later, the reaction is always the same, and I don't do it often, but once in a while I will. IT was over a year before his nightmares subsided which is why I am glad he always slept with me.

Neccy just wiggles and wags. Pepper grabs a toy and shakes the ever living daylights out of it. same for when I start playing the piano. Why that makes Pepper do this, I do not know.

Unless I say her name, or something that sounds 'doggy' Suzie doesn't look at me. So Singing does nothing, which is a good thing because she is the one creature on the planet who doesn't react when I sing

Victor and PEpper will also sing if you cue them to.
YOu sing the first line, they sing the second and so on.

Well, I tried it. They were all asleep and then I sang and they all jumped on my head (except for Rose, she started doing the happy feet).
