I do all the time.. I know I know.. I'm a little daft.. and I'm not so bad with people who I 'know'..but when it's newer people or people who don't post as often I'm never sure if I recognize them.. I guess I associate the person too much with that little picture than the actual name..

Anyone else like this?

I get confused at first. I always have to double-check if I don't recognize the avatar or siggy.

Not usually. If someone has posted for ages with no avatar and suddenly gets one, I'm confused but it only takes me a second or two to figure out who someone is if they change their avatar.
