Do you have a motto that guides you in life? Or a particular saying that is super meaningful to you in some way? A quote that really speaks to you? Share it here :)

My current life motto is "Aim high and dream big." I've alway been a big dreamer but I finally started taking actions to make some of my dreams into reality. So far this year I moved 3000 miles to the other side of the country with just me and my dog and now I'm going back to school to get a second bachelors degree in a field I'm really passionate about (and that pays a lot better!). I saw a decorative sign with this quote on it shortly after I moved and it just fit so perfectly with the way I approach life.

Another big quote that has meant a lot to me is "They're scared of your eyes 'cause they radiate blue. Never ever stop dreaming the way you do." It's from an old Say Anything song and it was my high school yearbook quote. I've been considering getting part or all of this as a tattoo at some point since it's been my favorite quote for about 8 years now.

I have my life verse.

"Do not worry about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Philippians 4:6

And my favorite quote from Terry Goodkind: "Nothing is ever easy."

Also, Dory. "Just keep swimming."

Between the three, I guess I live a very pessimistic lifestyle. :rofl1: Nothing is ever easy, but don't worry. Pray about it, seek guidance and wisdom from others, and just keep moving forward. Things have a way of working out when all is said and done.

I'm partial to the quote "I was a victim of a series of accidents, as are we all."

Lately it's along the lines of "I'm too old to put up with <insert specific crap I used to put up with when I was younger> anymore."

I try very hard to live by "not my circus, not my monkeys" and "be kind, for everyone you meet is fighting a hard battle".
