Yes. Everyone is bitching here e because it's getting colder. Bring on the winter. I don't like 90 degree days in October. I'm sweating today and it's 47. My meds make me run very hot though

I don't mind winter really :) having a dog has really changed my tune because he frikin LOVES snow, which makes me happy to see it.

I could do without horribly WINDY winters. But now that i'm not a dog walker and my only real time outside is taking Merlin out or waiting for the bus, I don't mind it.

No wind and no ice would be great lol I don't mind the cold itself

I really wouldn't mind it so much if it only lasted a month or so. It's the January through March time frame that tends to drag on and kill my spirit. Plus, the windchill around here just makes going anywhere very unpleasant at times.

I really need to live in like...Vermont.
Ugh. I'll trade you for...anywhere that isn't here or Canada.

I hate the cold a little less now that I'm at an indoor job and have been for five years. It's hard to like the cold when you are spending your morning pulling ice out of water buckets with your bare hands.

And while I hate it a little less - I still mostly hate it. Like Dekka said, it kind of depends on what you call cold. The 30s and even upper 20s aren't terrible. I can hike in that, the dogs can handle it fine with coats. When it gets down into the teens (or below zero) and it stays that way for days and the wind is whipping...no thank you. Plus last year the ice was terrible. The dogs could barely be let outside without risking their limbs.

I'd still rather it be warm to hot.

Haha... NO!

It's 41 degrees right now and I am absolutely freezing!! I'm afraid I would never survive somewhere where it's freezing. I'm definitely a Florida girl lol

Nope nooope noooope nope.

50 degrees Fahrenheit is really really pushing it past my comfort zone. I prefer a lovely 80 degrees in the sun. I'm actually pretty much fine with anything over 70, but I prefer weather which accommodates swimming and ocean going.

I can handle sixties to high fifties if I'm dressed properly, which for me means leggings under jeans, coat, scarf, and a hat if there's wind. If it's 55 and raining? I'm miserable.

If it drops below freezing? I wear three pair of pants, at least 4 shirts with a sweatshirt and heavy coat, double mittens, furry hat, etc.

See, to me cold weather is so much more tolerable than hot weather, because no matter how cold it gets (for the most part), you can just keep layering up and be fine. I was outside during the polar vortex in a nice thick coat + gloves, and I got hot and take to take it off. I put it back on pretty soon after, but I definitely wasn't cold.

But when it's scorching hot, once you're down to tank top and shorts, there's only so much you can do. Can't exactly throw all your clothes off and go frolicking in the sun.

No. Not a bit. I live in a town known as the icebox of the nation and I hate winter. It's hunting season right now and it's so freaking cold outside. My nice warm shower was heaven tonight.

Yes I do! Under 20F or so is getting a bit cold for me, but I would take under 20F year round to avoid any temperatures over 70, lol.

What I REALLY don't like is the ice, and unfortunately we get a lot of ice here. My tiny car can't handle it, and honestly I can't either... slipping on ice is freaking terrifying. I hate it. Hate hate hate.

Nope.

I very much so like temperate weather. Either extreme is ew to me. However, my dislike for cold weather depends on how cold we are talking about. Right now, the lows are in the low 30s, the highs are in the upper 40s. That is alright with me. I can walk out with a winter jacket on and be comfortable. What I DON'T like is having to wear 3+ layers and have my nose hairs freeze as soon as I walk outside, and have to spend 10 minutes warming up my car for it to even be remotely comfortable.

But most importantly, I hate hate HATE having to scrape ice off my windshield. Especially when it is thick and doesn't want to come off.

I'm looking forward to spending a winter in the south, just so I can marvel at how mild it is. And then die when I head up to Indiana for Christmas, where the temp will probably be -15 and there will be 2.5 feet of snow on the ground. LOL

Wll, I walked out of work a few nights ago and my co-worker commented that I was crazy for not having a jacket on. All I could think was how nice the cold wind felt against my skin.

I didn't use to enjoy the cold, but now it feels really nice. Though it get's to a point were it's just too cold and it turns from enjoyable to painful lol Overall I'd say yes, I enjoy the cold. :)

I enjoy the cold. But then again, I am always hot. And I always think that you can always bundle up, but when you are hot.. there is only so much you can do, and that doesn't even help most of the time!

That being said, I do not like the slush or ice that is inevitable in the winter here. I also don't like having to stay outside for very long if I am not prepared, or the days it is far below zero and your face feels like it is going to freeze off walking to school or work from your car.

But for the most part I enjoy it!

Not exactly. We have a bunch of snow right now and it's bitterly cold. The snow is pretty and all.. but I really hate below zero temps and wind chills. I love that it looks a lot like Christmas now though. :)

Ummm I don't actively DISLIKE it. I actually prefer weather where I can wear my hoodies, beanies and scarves in general but I also don't like when it's absolutely so cold that I can't even stand to be outside. Or a bitter wind is the worst to me. I can totally deal with 25-30F sunny days easily and actually enjoy it, but when it's sooo dreary for days on end, I do tend to get a little depressed. So cold temps don't bother me, mostly just lack of sun.

The only thing I truly hate is driving because I get anxiety about driving so driving when it's dark is not my favorite thing (and when it's dark at 5pm, that REALLY sucks...) and also I don't like driving in snow/icy type weather.

I don't know, I've learned to really appreciate all seasons. I like/dislike things about each of them. Winter USED to be my favorite when I was younger.

Honestly I would be beyond thrilled if I found a place to live where it was just Fall & Spring all the time. lol. 40F-75F year round, no humidity.

Cold weather and I do not get along. I much prefer warm weather and I would sooooo rather be hot than cold. Rather strip and jump into a pool than try to bundle up and sit there like a big lump of coats and hats, haha.

ETA: The only time I think it should be cold and snowy is Christmas. Once Christmas is over OKAY BACK TO WARM PLEASE

Basically this.

I was really hoping for a white Christmas, but it's not likely

(Saying that it's 39 right now.)
