The funny thing about *free* advice is it is typically worth about as much as you paid for it.

Thanks but I'll continue paying for my knowledge by training with top trainers and attending seminars/workshops (with the exception of learning from others as my peers, and of course chaz, plus all the credited trainers that offer tips/information etc on their websites that DON'T require me to sign up.

Nope, hence the FREE sign up. However, IF i were to continue this and subscribe, i can use an affiliate link to send to friends who may want to sign up. I then would get £2 a month for every friend that signs up. You can do the same. It's a pretty good scheme in my eyes. I guess that's how it works? I am still not completely sure. I hate to say it again, but if you read the site you wouldn't need to ask most of these questions.
A pyramid scheme, no less.

At least you finally directly outed yourself as a spammer.

First of all, i havn't yet signed as i want to see proof first of any evidence that this technique works.
IF YOU READ THE WEBSITE, YOU WOULD HAVE READ ABOUT WHAT ALL THE FUNDING AND AFFILIATE LINKS DO!!!!
You asked me to copy and paste from the website....i did just that.
Now you think that i am turning it into MY new idea? READ THE WEBSITE!
Secondly, seeing as you are all too willing to stick with your own methods (which is fine) but not listen to what other people have to say i will not continue this thread.
I will say once again, I am here to try and help people with problematic dogs. I am testing a new technique and providing you with my results for information.
Either it works and you learn something....or it might not and i go on to find something else.
Enjoy spending your quality time on this forum,

My own methods? Far from it. The methods I stick with have been used and proven to work for decades. I do tend to avoid using new gimmicks. As for this guy? I watched one video on his website - if there were others to watch without signing up, I must have missed that - and in that video, he sits on the floor with a sleepy dog on the couch. I can guarantee you, if I sit on the floor with my dog on the couch, it'll be a free for all "maul mom" moment. Mine don't take well to the sit and wait approach. They're way too high drive and high energy and if not given something structured to do, they'll find their own activities...and I certainly do not want to be in a vulnerable position while they're doing that. :rofl1: So yea...I'll stick with proven methods.

Seeing as you are all so intent on calling this 'spam', then i shall take no further part in this forum. I see no way of anyone here being open minded enough to accept that people have different methods and that you should give something a chance before you judge it.
Don't knock it, if you havn't tried it springs to mind.
Thankyou for taking your time (or not) to read this.

We discuss methods on MANY things here all the time............we just don't try to SELL them to each other ;)

It's not about open or closed minds, it's about spamming in stealth mode, LOL

You know, if the trainer of the website is convinced that his methods are magnifico... I have a female Fila that could use a little fine tuning. Maybe at his/your own expense you could come to my house and work with her. However, you would be doing this at your own risk. Then you really would have something to post a new thread about.

I'm always open to new ideas and methods, if they work, and are not abusive to my animals.

Look, you finally admitted to the "affiliate" program that pays you to recruit. No wonder you're spamming multiple forums with the same dog and pony show (so to speak). Don't even try to now claim it's anything other than what you already admitted today.

(Not that people here didn't already suspect ... but you were given a fair chance to prove otherwise. You failed miserably.)

Sayonara. Don't let the door hit cha. :D

^^^ Exactly. Stealth (or more accurately, attempted stealth) spammers are even worse than the garden variety hit-and-run types.

I havn't been paid a single penny for any of this. The affiliate link does not come into play untill you subscirbe and start paying.
I am only on the free sign up.
This is for your benefit as much as it is mine.
I'm doing it for the animals out there (including yourselves).

We're not talking about dog behavior anymore. We're giving too much attention (reinforcement) to this off topic spam.

Momma Mistrust, you failed. Once you've been on this (and other) forums for a few years, it's easy to spot those who have less than honorable intentions. Trying to disguise what you are doing is what every other person who comes on here to push some web site or training method or whatever else it might be. You can spot it from a mile away. Non spammers will actually take part in the forum. Ask some questions, answer some questions, get to know the people. They don't come on here and within their first 10 posts start pushing some "new" training method or product (that really isn't new at all). They usually last a week or so, and then they go away and leave the rest of the thousands of members here to do what we do best- help each other and have fun. Ta ta!

OK, so you're currently exploring your options before committing your own dollars to some pyramid-scheme affiliate program. So what? That's still :spam:

Consult Andrew Carnegie (either buy the book or conduct a séance.)
Insulting people does not win friends or influence people ... and isn't likely to recruit anyone either.

Thought you just said you weren't going to come back to the forum? That was certainly a quick trip ... anyway, seeya next fall. :p

:rofl1: :rofl1:

This is what has been bothering me the most about this thread from the very beginning: if it's a new method and you're not sure it's going to work, why are you posting about it NOW, before you even know how to do the method?

I'm testing a new (to me) method of training retrieve at work this week. Am I going to go into detail about what it's about? No, I don't know if it's going to work, I have to test it on several dogs before suggesting that other people go out and try it. Why would you start posting about a brand new method if you don't know if it's going to work??

THAT was my clue that this is just :spam:.
