Does Diamand (the one with the bad rap?) make Diamond Naturals?

Nope - EVO is made by Natura.

Natura makes EVO, Karma, California Natural, Innova and Healthwise.

an owner of a pet store told me that... but I just looked on the back of the bag and it says Natura. That's why I always add things like "I believe" unless I've looked it up myself. LOL.

Has Diamond changed the formula recently? The last bag of Kirkland I picked up had a different dog on the front and looked different, though smelled about the same. The bag I picked up today smelled very different from what it normally does...when Virgo leaves I'll be able to go back to feeding Innova to Sawyer, but we're stuck with this bag for now.

Zoom, call the 800 number on the back of the bag and ask them about the change.

I have been feeding this and really have been pretty pleased. BUT...there is some SERIOUS gas! Didn't get that with NR...must be that beet pulp!

I have been feeding the Costco Kirkland for years. I am confident that it is the best food I can afford to feed my 4-5 cup a day hound. Mini does fine on it too, but I supplement both dogs with eggs and oil.

my only complain is that my dogs have some gas. When I used to feed them taste of the wild, and natural balance I dont think I ever noticed it. but with Diamond naturals my crew poops once and night, and once in the morning, on the other foods Ruckus would poop soemtimes 4 times a day. Diamond Naturals does not upset Ruckus's belly either. He has chronic colitis and seems to do well on diamond naturals.

Like the earlier poster said...Diamond recall was a long time ago. I'm also feeding Taste of the Wild and my dog hasn't done better.

Just switch as well, to "Taste of the Wild". Using the Salmon formula. Best looking stool I have seen yet (as if stool can look good lol).
