My 8 year old female GSD has a large lump on her back leg. It started out as a black lump and over the past few weeks it has gone from black to pink/red. She went to the vet this morning and they did a fine needle aspirate and they're sending it out to a lab. The vet said that at first look the lump just looked like a cyst, but when he drew fluid he described the fluid as crunchy. We should have results in a few days, but I was wondering if any of your dogs have ever had mass fluid described this way?
