FYI: COQ10 has the ability to protect heart tissue from functional and structural changes. If your vet has diagnosed cardiac ischemia (a shortage of blood supply to the heart) or reperfusion (damage to heart tissue after ischemia) COQ10 will slow down the progression of heart disease as well as improving your dog's overall health.
I use this product for my senior toy terrier. A vet recommended it since he had a low grade heart murmur. I seems to have helped with that and overall energy.
