I think my dog might be having a hard time doing #2. Since I changed him to Canidae, his feces are considerably smaller and when he goes to do his business, he'd be in the crouching position to go, but he wouldn't/can't go. Know what I mean? I just watched him go an hour ago and the first 2 feces came out fine, but then he went and moved around and crouched again to get some more out, he seemed to be having a hard time, then a little pebble sized one was stuck on his butt and he was having another hard time getting it out. Constipation perhaps?

I can't help ...but maybe because of the change of size, he knows it's there but can't squeeze it out.

have you tried introducing more fluids....it may help a bit. :)
I give him as much water as he needs. I fill up his water bowl everytime its empty, or near empty, and he also has a pool filled with water. So I don't think that's the case.

well your dog ends up eating some of your hair and it comes out the other end the same as it went in , but it usually stops the first poop from dropping as it is still attached this may be why you dog was doing this because it felt the hair there

a bit of canned pumpkin (100% pure pumpkin, no spices) and some cultured yogurt should help things along. :)
