What a weird freaking cross. What was the thought process behind that one?! Alright, I know the answer to that one (there was no thought put into it), but I don't think you could have picked a weirder cross if you just pulled two breeds out of a hat.

Not very attractive either IMHO, but I do realize everyone has their own preferences.

I don't know, "St. Bernadoodles" are pretty darn hideous, and seem to have zero thought behind that cross other than $$$.

I HOPE after a few litters of these puppies create barking havoc and also come out blind, deaf, and missing eyes because they're only breeding them for color, the "breeders" realize maybe it wasn't the best idea.

If they continue the Schnauzer to Mini Aussie cross (as opposed to breeding back the offspring) they shouldn't have any issues ....

Looking at the "Nursery", the two litters she has are sired by one of the mixes bred to Schnauzer bitches. As long as she doesn't breed the merles to merles, the puppies should be okay (at least regarding the blind/deaf/missing eyes part).

Either way, I see no indication of health testing and there are plenty of problems in both breeds (but hey, you get a one year health guarantee!)

Did you expect any?

And then there's temperament...both breeds tend to be very high energy, drivey, and poor temperaments aren't uncommon in them either...but yeah, let's breed for color...

Nope, but always try to give people the benefit of the doubt. If you want to create colorful barking dogs, please just let them be healthy!

Yeah, but all that worry about health skews the priorities.
Well, you do have that! I will be the first to admit some of those merles are pretty. But I wouldn't buy a dog based solely on color, so they could just photograph one and keep copying the same pic ... problem solved.
