Have you found the right dog, yet?
I already spend *way* too much time on the internet, lol! I seriously apologize for not being around more. I do check in every once in a while but usually just long enough to lurk and catch up.
I will totally keep you updated on events. This one on Feb 20 is called "Bullylicious" and will feature pit bulls and burlesque. I'll post the official press release once the logo is done, which should be some time today.
We haven't found the right dog yet, and I've put the search on hold for a while. This spring I'll be doing a lot of traveling (and not always fun trips) so it's not ideal to integrate a dog. Besides, Xdog is going through her terrible teen phase so I'm focusing on working on her issues before we add another dog. I'm a firm believer that if you have one problem dog and then add another, then you just double the problem. The right dog would actually alleviate many of her issues but we have yet to find the right dog (and I tend to be drawn to the dogs that would double our issues... argh).
In the meantime we borrow dogs whenever she gets lonely. This guy is Brody, and he just did an overnight yesterday. Although he looks less than enthused in this picture, he actually really likes her and she *loves* him.
