Doggie coat for friend #1
Down vest for friend #2
Something yet to be determined for DH. I usually do "experience" gifts, but with the baby it's so hard :\

And that's it! I told family that I didn't want to do gifts this year. Our gift to my side is that we spend $900 on plane tickets to come visit.

Oh God this thread is a rude awakening to the fact that Christmas is 1 month away and it hasn't even crossed my mind what I'm going to get people :yikes:

(But hey, I'm at least done shopping for Chaz secret santa.)

Well I am going shopping soon. I don't know what exactly I'm getting my parents and brother. (Shopping with my mom for my dad and brother and going shopping with my dad for my mom) The only person I have shopped for is my Secret Santa lol. It will be going out next weekend! Also, I am getting our pets some stuff (won't mention what yet besides treats is a given) and my brother's dog something special! All of my friends are getting Christmas cards and my best friend will be getting a present. :)

Hubby got a new truck for birthday/Christmas. I'm getting my mom a long line for her dog! Lol! Mil is getting a charm for her pandora bracelet. Not quite sure what we are doing past that.

DH is finishing his full sleeve for Christmas/birthday

My parents are getting a bunch of stuff from my siblings and me (clothes and candles for my mom, iTunes card/SiriusXM subscription for my dad, among other things)

Siblings and I don't exchange gifts, and I don't do anything for my friends either. I'm super lame. We just hang out instead :)

Easy for the kids...

For hubby I got headphones, an Arena CD (shipped from England so I hope it makes it on time, lol), and a PS4 game (they have an awesome deal today with the blu-ray extended Lord of the Ring trilogy and Shadows of Mordor for $54 today on Amazon... I had the DVDs already, but I figured heck, it's just $5 more than the game alone to get the blu-rays and I wanted to get him the game anyway).

For the rest of hubby's family, well, I have no idea, as I don't think we're actually going to see anyone this year... so we'll probably just send gift baskets or something. For my family, we never do anything anyway since I moved to the US.

Josh's birthday is 2 days before Christmas, so I always try and get 2 separate things for him.
A running joke in our relationship has been him doing things with his "bear hands" (not bare, bear lol). So I bought him a pair of oven mitts shaped like bear paws.
The second present is tickets to see Volbeat (one of his favourite bands) and Anthrax which I think he will be pretty excited about.

For mom I got all the old family videos put onto DVD so she can watch them. They've been stored in the basement for over 15 years now.

I got my brother an Ace Ventura shirt as he's on a really big Jim Carrey kick right now.

And not sure what I'm getting dad yet. Probably a new watch or a video game.

I haven't bought anything yet, but I'm getting my parents a membership to Costco and my brother the cards against humanity starter set. For Rick, half of his gun, a holster, and some ammo.

My parents are getting a VHS/DVD converter that all of us siblings are pitching in to buy.

I'm going generic and getting my siblings all the same thing:
Homemade mint hot chocolate (I'm going to try to package it prettily) with a personalized hot chocolate mug, and a little pretty baggy of mini marshmallows entitled "snowman poop".

For DH...I'm working on putting together a portrait collage of Cynder for him. Haven't quite figured that one out yet. He'll also be getting a USB recording device for his computer (need to find one that is high quality in my price range that also has a headphone jack...), and he also wants a book (o_O), so I'm getting him that, too. There are a few other things he wants, but that will have to depend on finances and I'm used to a "three gift rule". LOL

My Mom:
She's sick and undergoing treatments similar to chemo. She's expessed very few wants / concerns. I plan on making her a nice, big, 'care' basket. She has sensitive skin and allergies so I've gotten her specific chagrin valley bar soaps, a few shampoo bars to try, lotions. I plan on getting her some of her favorite candies, soft fuzzy socks, a soft blanket, a few seasons of her favorite shows. Gift cards for her kindle, so she can buy whatever she wants with it. It sounds kind of generic typing it out, but it's all personal things she likes and I've been getting peices here and there and I'm really picky about it. I still wish I could think of a "centerpiece" item, though.

Dad & brother
Theyre kinda hard to shop for. Because theydoesn't want much, and usually if he wants/needs something, he just gets it himself :p

I'm teetering on getting Maddie a paco collar. And of course toys and treats for both.

Friends... I don't know... Waaaah... :(

SO and I are just buying dog stuff for each others gifts lol. I'll also be getting something for my mother and my best friend, but not sure what yet. I don't do present with my siblings.

I saw Social D a couple years ago and they were really great live.

Lillian's getting a play kitchen (main gift) and some smaller toys. I need to get her PJs.

Her grandparents are all getting painted serving platter with her hand/footprint Christmas trees/reindeer, lol.

Brother - I bought him a t-shirt. IDK what else to get him.

Mom - idk. She's the hardest. I might get her a book or cd. Or scarf.

Dad - Also have no idea, plus his birthday's coming up. ERG.

Aunt - possibly one of those little Japanese wooden dolls, I forget what they're called!

Friend - idk, maybe a candle with either a LOTR or HP themed scent.

Shane - I was planning on making him a "passport" filled with fun date ideas and local food to try, but we actually recently split up. I'll still get him a gift, but I don't know what it will be anymore. Probably some clothing. Or music related thing. Maybe basketball game tickets if I can get them cheap enough.

Basically I tried to start prepping for Christmas three months ago and only shopped for my kid.

Mom & Dad:
*I honestly have no clue at the moment... really gotta start thinking about that one.

Brother:
*Probably some bullets for his gun, lol. Maybe tickets to a Gator basketball game.

Sister:
*Again, honestly have no clue on this one.

I have 6 other people that I'm buying for, I'll just list them by initial haha
*G - gift cards and probably a few soccer things (she's away at college on a soccer scholarship, so I think she will enjoy these 2 things)

*H - Beats by Dre, which I'm buying online tonight for a good price. As well as a couple other small things

*J - Same as above

*C - Lionel Messi soccer ball and remote control helicopter

*T&F - gift certificate for a cabin in GA

SO is getting strings for his guitar, that he specifically asked for, and a Carhartt for work, that he didn't, because he'd be mad if he knew how much they cost :p I'm hoping to get him a few little other things as well.

I need to finish Secret Santa shopping, but I'm over my limit already lol, but there are still things I want to get! Luckily, they're all in stores, so I don't have to wait on shipping!

My mom is getting a 1000 count king sized deep pocket Egyptian cotton bed set, and MAAYYYBEEE, if I FEEEL like going to IKEA (I never ever do) a new cute Duvet for her bed. She only uses one in the winter, so I may try to order a heavy one for winter time for her. She's got a couple lightweight ones for summer.

We're all also pitching in (my siblings and I) to get her something together, instead of buying each other gifts, but I may end up buying my brother coilover adjustable springs for his Civic (it's lowered, but the idiot that lowered it cut the springs :p )

I don't even know what I want for Christmas. I just direct people to my Amazon wishlist lol.

Ugh, I don't even know. I've already told 99% of people that I'm not shopping for them this year. Just a couple close friends, all my pets plus Finnegan, and then family. Maybe. Nobody else is buying gifts, but the thought of just skipping Christmas depresses me, so...

My mother- A new comforter/bedding set...She hasn't had one in years...A new large skillet (this may sound like a sexist or crappy gift but she really wants/needs one and will not buy one herself), and I hoping to find her a new purse or pajama set.

My brother- I already have bought him a couple cool coffee mugs from Spencers Gifts. He likes collectibles and so I got him an awesome HUGE Walking Dead mug with bicycle girl on it, and a Game of Thrones mug which says "All Men Must Die". He is a big fan of both. I may still get him a book or graphic tshirt of some kind.

My sister- I ordered her a "Frog Grog" which is an adorable large frog figurine I ordered off Amazon. She is very hard to buy for. But she collects frogs and loves wine. So I thought an adorable frog shaped wine bottle holder would be perfect. It will make her laugh and also look cute in her kitchen. I will also probley get her either pajama's or some comfy pants.

My cousin- he got an Axe body spray gift set....That's probley all he's getting lol.

My dad- He is getting a kick ass Jimi Hendrix tshirt and an equally kick ass etched glass Harley Davidson mirror. He might get one more gift...I am undecided.

Both of my nephews (ages 11 and 15)- they get everything under the sun from their parents. So they are each getting a regal cinema gift card and either graphic t's or cool print pj pants.

My 2 year old nephew- He is getting two "Disney Bunnies" books which focus on Thumper. One is a touch and feel book the other is "Good Night Thumper" I would also like to buy him two more in the series which focus on shapes and counting. My sister reads to him a lot and I like to encourage that. He is obsessed with Mickey Mouse Club House so I also plan on buying him this "Hot Diggity Dog" Mickey who talks, sings, and does the hot dog dance..Yes I am splurging on him lol.

My 16 year old niece- She has an outfit coming to her and the Dk published Dog Breed Encyclopedia. I am sure she will get something else dog or animal related. She is obsessed with animals of every kind and loves to read. So she is pretty easy to pick for.:)
