Chihuahua Pekingese mix?

Hubby and I are interested in getting a puppy or dog this spring. We prefer something small. The dog would travel with us. Grooming is not an issue, however prefer something with less dander as I have a slight allergy.
In the past we have had shih tzus and a malshi. Thinking something smaller. We are both retired early so have the time to train and walk our pet.
Does anyone have experience with this mix breed? Also I can’t seem to find a breeder. Any help is
appreciated. We are in Mn but don’t mind looking out of state.

What on earth is a Malshi? Probably good you can't find a breeder of mutts, or mixed breeds. Go to a shelter if you want a mixed breed. No way a breeder like this could be ethical.

Why would someone who breeds mixed breeds not be ethical? I'd say it's the pure breed breeders who are unethical because of all the genetic health issues pure breeds are prone to have.

OMG, do you see the picture next to my post??? That is my latest addition, shin tzu/Maltese puppy. She is 9 mos old about 13 lbs and the height of a miniature poodle. She is loving, adorable, and great temperament. I also have a bichon/poodle and have had many poodles during my life but have decided they can have an aggressive tendency ((as my current poodle has). This is my second shi/mal and I think they are an outstanding breed. I got both of my shi/mal’s from a pet store and they were fantastic healthy animals. Good luck
