I could probably work something out but he'd still pee haha. I haven't been able to figure out his pee signals. He's always jusy waddling around and then *squat*.

Now that you mention that about Abrams I remember you posting about his issues! But that doesn't sound fun lol.

There's still time for a slip up today but so far we're accident free and it's just about 7pm. Fingers crossed he gets a gold star for perfection today or at least if he has an accident, maybe it's only 1?? Lol.
Fingers crossed for no accidents. :p

I had a foster puppy one time that didn't have a single accident the entire week I had him. But only one puppy. The rest of them have soaked my house in pee. That's what makes having puppies fun, right? :D:D

Well we're now 2 days accident free so obviously complaining about it helps! Or admitting that there was a problem made me get serious about working at it. :p

I AM TOO HANDSOME AND GROWN UP LOOKING AT 8 WEEKS OLD.

I can't believe the biting from this dog. His favorite thing is to jump and grab my arm, clamp down and TUG. Not cool buddy.

I has a puppy! He's a temporary puppy, but a puppy all the same. His name is Atlas and he's actually been really good so far. But I've only had him for 14 hours, so I'll see how I feel about him 8 days from now when he goes back to the rescue. But he's a total sweetheart and cute as a button!

(Please excuse all the hair in the pictures. Fable has made the entire house look like a snow globe and I swear I just vacuumed.)

One more week hopefully! Two at most until I find out who is mine. I know who it's not and I have a feeling I know who it will be, so I'm excited to see not only who it is but also if my guess is correct. :)

AHEM AHEM

As far as peeing in the house goes, Hazel is 14 weeks and I think we *just* got a handle on it. We were on vacation last week and she only had one accident the entire week, which was awesome. Before that she was still having about 2 per day, and often in her crate after only 3 hours. I got her tested for a UTI and it was negative, so I think she just has to pee all the freaking time. She does understand going outside as soon as she gets out (got that right away at 8 weeks), and will often walk near the door to signal, so we are getting better. For about a month we just had to take her out every 10-15min while she was awake and she would pee every single time, so some puppies really do need to go out that often.

I think we only took Watson out once an hour at that age, and he had only a handful of accidents between 9 and 12 weeks, and then none after that. Hazel was having 3-4 a day even with me and my husband being super on top of her.

I have to brag about how good my puppy is. We spent last week at a lake cabin with some friends - 5 adult humans, a one year old baby, 2 adult dogs, and the puppy. Hazel was so so good. She stuck around the cabin and came when called, though that's not shocking since she's still little. She was calm in the house and didn't have any accidents until the last day (compared to 2 a day at home). She was super well behaved when we went to my friend's parent's house an hour away to watch the World Cup, and his dad even liked her enough to let her on the couch (he's so not a dog person, and the adult dogs weren't allowed on furniture). He was carrying her around saying "I like this one! She's so soft!" lol We went for ice cream and she charmed all of the little kids and was super calm and patient in line and while we were eating.

The most surprising thing is that she was awesome with the baby. I figured she would knock him over or nip him, but she was extremely appropriate and sweet with him. The adult dogs avoided him as much as possible, but she seemed to genuinely enjoy interacting with him and didn't get nervous or upset when he was a little grabby.

So proud of this puppy! I hope she doesn't turn into a terror in a couple months because she's just perfect right now. Her only fault is that she wasn't interested in swimming. She would play in the shallows and attack the waves, and fell into the lake at least twice a day (off the little ramp thing that lead into the water), but she never seemed interested in swimming out on purpose.

Random fear period right when we were starting amusement park training. Fml.

On a positive note he did the escalator with no hesitation although he got vocal half way through. That is also Morgans DONE point with them so we think he might have been picking up on that.

This is basically what I've been thinking since I saw that FB post! Seriously, which one!?!
Sorry, guys! Sometimes with Facebook I forget about posting here too haha. Oops. And then I feel bad because I randomly post here and it seems like I don't care about your guys' puppies, but I do! I just honestly am so used to FB now that it's hard to remember to post here too sometimes (and I like the privacy of FB).

That said, Everest will be joining my family in a couple of weeks. I am super excited! And her breeder says her nose will fill in lol. I hope so. But even if it doesn't, I love her already, pink nose or black. She just feels completely right. Upon talking to her breeder before offical placements were made a few days ago I was really torn between Everest and her black tri sister (who looks wise is my preference), but Ev's personality won me over ever so slightly and I was thrilled when I was told shortly after that she would be mine.

[I love this picture of her. It's the most recent one, too.]

Tia is finally old enough that she can be interesting and not just adorable and tripping over her own feet

her co owner is a trainer and has been using Tia to help rehab a super anxious pit mix, because shes so calm and friendly to everything

Gusto had more pink than that on his nose, and it did fill in completely.

And she is super cute! Congratulations!

Congrats! I've been stalking their FB page and Everest and Skye were my two favorites. She's gorgeous and her eyes are so unique. Will you keep her name?

There was a time that I never thought I'd be open to a bi eyed dog haha. But now that I know she's mine I think she's completely adorable. I am so happy she's mine and am really looking forward to getting to know her. She sounds fantastic.

And yes, she is keeping her name. :)

I have horrible puppy fever today. So of course I go look in the puppy thread. Not helping! :p

I want fluffy and cute and baby puppy. I've kind of unofficially decided I'm going to get myself one for my birthday not this year but next year. We'll see.
