I am on the list for a breeding scheduled to happen in 2014. Chosen not for the breed but for the dogs/lines -- I know the sire's line very well and the dame's side looks promising. I'm hoping to visit early next year to meet the individual dogs involved.
Very cool! Can I ask what breed or is that top secret? :D

I had a slight breeder change a few months ago. Met with a well known breeder that is now local and fell in love with her bitch. I'm not a HUGE fan of the sire, just because he is a touch soft, but I think it will be a very nice breeding with solid drive, herding potential, and good conformation.

2015 here but maybe late 2014. It depends on a few things.

I'm super sad no Mira pups though. :( you couldn't keep one to breed in the future?

Aaaah Linds! Grey puppy yay!!!
I'm really hoping it works out. The breeding got put off this year so should happen around March of next year. It would be prefect timing season wise and I think good for everyone in the family after the rash of cancer we've had.

And I've wanted a sighthound for sooo long and I think a grey will work perfectly!

I'm thinking 2015 for me as well - though I would actually like to see Payton bred next year so I can watch the pups and that would inform our choice for the next litter after that, which would contain my Payton baby...

I really should wait longer and put a few more years between dogs, but waiting until Payton is four is going to be horrible anyway because I would really like a puppy RIGHT. NOW. TODAY. INSERT PUPPY INTO HANDS PLEASE.

I hope the breeding works out for you. Glad you found a breeder you like.

As for me...well since Linds still hasn't assembled her Traveler cloning machine :)p) I am looking at a border collie. Will be a niece/nephew of Guestdog (stayed at our house for about two weeks earlier this year).

Hopefully there will be an Aussie puppy coming home in January. Momma dog was xrayed, definitely at least 5 but more than likely 6-7. Puppies should be born this week/weekend.

Awwww yay!! This thread is full of goodness <3

I will NOT be participating in a puppy thread for like... 10 years probably so I will continue to live vicariously through you all. Plus I get to work with some young puppies at work (we are expecting more arrivals in January!) so I can get my fill there :)

It is! It's been a long time since I've had a puppy! Since I got Simba, actually, so going on 10 years! I'm sure those who have known me around online know I have gone through many wonders of "my next breed will be", but after getting to spend a lot more time with the Great Dane breed in the recent past, have become totally smitten with them.

They are wonderful dogs. I lost my boy back in Jan 2012. I would love to have more someday but I can't say when.

I loved the 2013 Puppies thread and am excited to see the 2014 puppies as well!

Unfortunately I won't be joining in until 2015 or 2016... I wish. It's been almost 5 years and I am ready for a puppy again.

Please, God, please do not dump a puppy on my doorstep in the year of 2014. :p

So excited for everyone getting puppies, though! :D

THIS!

I'm all maxed out dogwise (I think), so no more puppies for me for a good long while :( :( :( ...so I'll have to get my required puppy doses from Chaz!
