I didn't know people usually got sonos before the first trimester? Lol. With Lillian I had one done at the ER just because I got so dehydrated, and with this baby I had one done because we weren't sure about conception date.

I have had the NT scan done with both babies just because of my medication, spina bifida is a realistic concern. Otherwise I'm pretty sure my midwives just do the anatomy scan, and an NST if you go over your due date. I guess everyone gets the NT scan offered and also I'm assuming if they don't hear the heartbeat on doppler then they do a scan.

I don't know what interventions they typically do during pregnancy lol. Normally it seems like those all happen during labor.
I had one at like 8 weeks only because the doctor didn't listen to my explaining that I had irregular cycles, so my 'last start date' was not an effective measure of detecting how far along. Thus, he thought I should have been 10-12 weeks, rather than 8.

I had my first prenatal today (8 weeks) and had a dating ultrasound and also saw the heartbeat. :D Next appointment at 11.5 weeks for the nuchal screen and such.

Still feels pretty weird but more real when I heard the heartbeat. <3

Admitted to the hospital for HG for the second time this week :( I'm home now. I've been on four different meds and now a combo so I'm hoping something works. I'm on a liquid diet for a few days. Going on 14 weeks so I hope this ends soon.

How is everyone doing? Anything new? Where are updated photos!!!

We have names. We have two names. I'm so relieved and excited! We have a boy name (with 3 back-ups we like a lot) and a girl name (with 2 back-ups we like a lot), first and middle. Ah!

Baby shower x2 this weekend. Things are getting so close!

Maternity photo shoot yesterday, cannot wait! :D

You really look GREAT, i'm sure that baby is happy and healthy inside. Can't wait to see the little one. It will be here before you know it. Our little guy just turned 16 months. Here's a few recent pics. He's everywhere, on things, in things, pushing us on the floor so he can jump on us, and pretty much smiles everywhere he goes. Sometimes he gets a little too crazy, he gave himself a bloody nose at a restaurant last weekend :)

Since he was born, he has this thing where he will find someone, anyone, and smile and be funny until they smile back. Anyway, he was flirting with this woman a few tables away and he does this head bob when he gets really excited and he smashed his face against the table. Ooops, and the blood started flowing. It slowed his roll for about 1 minute and 30 and he was back to flirting while we're trying to keep the blood cleaned up.

Here's some updated pics, I think most are from the last month or 2.

Dancing with myself and I'd look better if Daddy would clean the mirror

Lots of teeth, still no hair, unless you count the dog hair on the sweatshirt and I had to edit my wife out. She doesn't like being on the internet much.

He's adorable! Love how smiley <3

FG, you look great! Enjoy your shower...my baby shower was one of my favorite days of my whole life. I had so much fun and it lasted like 7 hours and then we actually went out afterwards to continue the party.

I'm 16 weeks and doing better. BP is low and I nearly faint a lot (lose vision and can't stand up, but haven't lost consciousness yet if I put my head between my knees). It's annoying and driving is iffy but it doesn't seem as bad as with my first. My morning sickness has died down to where I just throw up once or twice a day with no meds, plus I can eat now, so that's nice! We're going to find out the gender, which I'm a little sad about, in early June, so we can tell Lillian.

Lillian is diving headfirst into the terrible twos, so my days consist of 50 minute long episodes of her yelling "I DONT WANT TO" after I ask her to do....anything. I'm planning her princess birthday party. She knows almost the whole alphabet, just skips a few letters (ABCDEGIJLMNOQRXTUV "double X" YZ) and loves her friends at daycare. Last night she got a spongebob Popsicle and instead of eating it, tucked him in for bedtime, rocking and lullaby included. Typically 2 year old stuff you all have to look forward to :p

It's not something only 2 year olds do, in college I once woke up spooning with a frozen pizza after a pretty good night of partying. I remember wanting to make a pizza the night before, apparently I just brought it to bed with me instead :D

I did in fact wake up next to a loaf of bread in college. Didn't have time to shop, pulling an all nighter, decided to eat a slice of bread (ew) to hold myself over, and passed out before I could actually get to it.

About 11.5 weeks here. I think I might actually start showing in my every other week pictures I've been taking next week. ;)

I rocked my giant hike - no issues and had fun stunning people with me completing the hike in less than 12 hours while pregnant.

Next prenatal is next Wednesday - I'm guessing it should look like a baby instead of a gummy bear this time. NT scan, more bloodwork, but everything has been normal so far.

MM - what's your BP? Mine's a hair lower than normal, but my normal is low normal, so I get weird looks from everyone who takes it, though I'm not feeling anything different. It was 96/53 at an osteopathic appointment last week, around 103/60 prepregnancy.

Uh....well I think my problem is it drops/fluctuates. Pretty frequently to like: 75/49. If I feel "normal" it's like 90-100/70ish. But if I'm feeling lightheaded anywhere from 70-90/49-55

Thank you, I feel HUMONGOUS!!! LOL I've been so incredibly lucky so far this summer. Usually we've already had a month of 90 degree temps with high humidity and this spring/summer has been so lovely and cool. Thank goodness, because I am running HOT these days. Freezing DH out of the house and the car, where before I used to pack a blanket just for me in the car LOL

You've got the most adorable little boy!!! He's sooooo happy, how endearing and what fun to photograph!! Oh man, I actually flinched when you said he smacked his little face. Poor guy. Flirting is dangerous!

My Skype shower was a great success, the internet did not crash as I had anticipated and we got a ton of stuff we really needed, which is wonderful. I would never say anything to my Mom...but it was really hard seeing everyone together, and all the decorations, and the food, and not getting to actually be there. Maybe harder than not having a shower. But I know it was so important to her that she give me a "real" shower. Plus I'm all emotional and hormonal so I am sure that has something to do with it. She did such a phenomenal job, it looked so lovely there. She made this CRAZY cool motorcycle out of diapers, with a little stuffed bear riding it.

My goodness girl, I hope things smooth out for the rest of your pregnancy and you start feeling better soon! That sounds so hard! OMG the alphabet story made me laugh though, I can't wait for family stories like that :D

Yes, will look like a baby...I did the first trimester screening at 12 weeks and there were little hands and feet to see moving around, it was crazy!! Josh skipped that apt because we thought I was just getting a blood draw. He was SO BUMMED he missed the first ultrasound where the baby looked like a baby. But then I had so many Dr's issues (as you know), we had more ultrasounds that he got to see anyway. Still feeling good? Anything new?

My IPO club and agility classmates threw me a surprise shower this weekend. It was so incredibly lovely. Incredible. They did a ton of decorations and food and a cupcake cake...and they bought us an INSANE amount of stuff, again that we needed. People have been amazing to us. I feel so blessed. I know I'm gushing all over but I was so worried about BUYING ALL THE THINGS, and we've been given the vast majority of the things we need. Not only did my IPO club do this, but another club that we visit often (to get on new fields and get new helpers etc) also put together a bunch of stuff to be brought to the shower. I just don't have the words...

We got a sneak peak of our maternity pics...sorry giant FB pics...

Loving all the photos! The pregnancy ones are fabulous! It goes so quickly :(

We are 4 months here!!! Love every day. It's a love you can't ever imagine and I know how why parents harp on at those without kids to have them. It's like the best high you'll ever get and no hobby, person, animal, thrill seeking can match it!!!

Thank you :)

Thank you :)

That pic...are you in a baby wearing group on FB? I swear I saw that pic somewhere! Also, what kind of carrier is that? :)

well, then I look forward to that feeling...since right now I'm swollen, hot, and uncomfortable LOL

I'm on a few groups but only shared that photo in the UK lenny lamb page and to try to win a competition hahaha (never tried before but you never know!). It's a lenny lamb (obviously from above!) :) I'm turning into that crazy person (I have 3 ssc now). She loves it. We love it. Hardly ever use a pram! That was just a for fun picture, she's still a bit too small to stay on my back for too long!! Can't wait till she can though.
