Finally, Something to look forward to!

Tomorrow is my B-day so My mom has agree'd to drive me to grandfalls so I can spend an hour or so at the Spca and take a dog or two for a walk and love on some kittehs! Im hoping this will cheer me up a bit. I dont get to go there often because its an hour drive on the highway and we never usually go to grand falls.. its one of the bigger places in central NFLD.

I will also be donating 40 dollars in memory of casey.Then mom and I will be going out for supper at Jungle Jims.. Cant WAIT to go to the spca.. I havent been there since I surrendered the kittens to them. And mom d@mn near had to drag me out of the doors then.

Hopefully I wont fall in love this time.. Wont be able to handle being said no to this time I ask to adopt a dog.

Have fun! I miss volunteering and working at the shelter. Take lots of pictures (I hope your Canon is fixed, STUPID GIRL WHO BROKE IT. Hunt her down. ).

Have you already sent in your volunteer form? If not, make sure you do that before you go in, or you call ahead of time and see what their rules are - because some shelters/SPCAs want to have an interview first or go over your form, and some shelters/SPCAs even want to have you go to a couple volunteer classes first!

Bre, when I brought the feral kittens in they said I could just drop in anytime I want and help out. No forms or anything because i cant do it regurally.. Its just too far a drive and the wehather this time of year is unpredictable.

I speant most of my time in the cat room Loving on the kittehs.. They were LOVING it.. The poor things

Im in love with one cat in particular. A FAT orange and white Medium haired cat.. He would come to me and sit and my feet and sit on his hind legs and paw at my legs like a baby wanting to get up.. And he was SO smooshable! He was a chunky guy and I loved his cuddlyness..

Fell in love with 2 dogs.. I on,ly got to see them thru their kenels becaus ethe weather was TERRIBLE and way to bad to take them out.

One was a casey look a like and a VERY malnurished rottie.. She was so skinny she looked gangly and talll More like a dobie with a shorter nose and flop ears. But the loved the treats.. didnt get to see the other dogs because there outdoor kennels had Something around them to keep the cold out.. I caught a peek thru a crack and there was a Pure bred siberian huskey there.

I also have a surprise for everybody.. But nothing is set in stone yet so I dont want to get any hopes up
