Got a text from Nikki. Buddy's got to go back to have more blood drawn. The vet/lab wasn't happy with the draw they got for some reason.

I hope it's because they didn't see what they expected and it's something not as serious.

Well, Nikki got to talk to the vet office. They mixed up the blood samples. :wall:

BUT . . . They are at the Delta today, Buddy's having a fine time, and has eaten . . . KIBBLE.

I still can't get over the fact that we've been trying so desperately to get him to eat (we made a chicken feet broth soupy thing, because the only raw thing he's been eating has been chicken feet!) and we offered him a sample bag of kibble and he ate it up. Never thought I'd ever feed kibble again. It was his first meal in several days so I'm not complaining.

Like Renee said, today was such a good day that we went down to the delta and he swam and we walked. I'm hoping for more good days. Thank you for thinking of Buddy. It truly means a lot.

How funny that he scarfed the kibble. :lol-sign: Maybe he'd like freeze dried raw too (like Stella & Chewy's)? Bailey thinks the patties are treats.

Sometimes they just act goofy. I was convinced I was going to have to put my husky down a couple weeks ago-completely convinced. Wouldn't eat,which has never happened, panting,peeing like mad and drinking a lot. When the vet opened up she was all better-not a problem since. There is a chance it is nothing,and I will be hoping thats what it is!

Sunday was a great day and I think we might have overdone it a little. I'm at work today, but when I left it was looking like it wasn't going to be too good of a day.

He is definitely sick, the x rays clearly show it, it's just a matter of finding out what he happens to be sick with. No word from the vet. It's an awful waiting game.

Having a great day like Sunday does help, though. It takes that hopelessness away and mitigates the fear -- for Buddy and you. Having hope is essential to getting better, and fear is debilitating.
