There is a dog two doors down from us, an ACD, and he was great, the gates were always open, he wandered out but never caused trouble. Never tried to attack us or our dogs when we walked past. Just looked at you like "your not my owner so i wont give you the time of day" he was the best looking ACD i have ever seen, big and blue and when the kids in the family rode their bike to te shop, he followed them and guarded them. he was good when you just walked past, but i wouldnt walk into his yard or i think he would rip you to threads.

he would completely ignore anyone that wasnt his family and the only pups they got out of him were crossed with a chi, they kept one but it is vicous and aggresive.

today we asked Brutis's neighbors where he was because we havnt seen him in a while, they said he has died, he had Parvo, his family wasn't much into their dogs as pets and so i dont think he got proper vet care, or his shots etc. i cant believe he is gone, he was only as old as buster, only 2, and he is dead, he was one of the two best behaved dogs i have ever met (the other being my mothers old dog which i want to tell you about sometime,) and now he is gone. :(

That is a really sad story. Just a reminder that vaccines are important. Please note that Parvo can and will live in soil for a year after an infected dog has gone to a bathroom in that area. Please keep your dogs away from where that dog did it's business and played etc. You may want to mention to the owners to not get another dog for a year or so. I am so sorry that a great dog was lost. It is so sad to loose any of them. Take care :(

That is so SAD! Maybe you should get a rate sheet from a local shelter otr vet and give it to them or ask them to please get a parvo shot especially so yours dogs don't get incontact and get parvo from there other dogs. Or if they really can't afford they shouldn't get a dog! But i would be more than glad if i have the money at the time to pitch in and give money to them so they can give there dogs a parvo shot!!! Hopefully they have learned there lesson now and will get there dogs parvo shots!
