Growing up in my immediate family we had an American Cocker Spaniel, then a shepherdy mutt from the pound that was very DA, and finally a deaf mess of a Sheltie from an Amish-style BYB/low level puppy mill (we weren't the most informed family on dogs...). Now my parents have no dogs, they do so much traveling and they really got the dogs for me growing up.

My uncle has a little black and tan houndy mutt, maybe a beagle mix. His wife's parents have a Basset.

My aunt is reaaaally into Papillons, she's had probably 6 or so all told - all rescues and many geriatric or special needs.

My godmother and honorary aunt had a Basenji and a very muttly mutt until recently. Now that they're gone she's adopted another very hard to place mix.

My grandparents on my mom's side had a big Pointer type dog, but gave him away because she was killing their chickens.

And that's about it! I'm by far the most involved dog owner in my family, aside from my one aunt I think most of them have dogs as an afterthought or purely for their kids.

Just counting who I consider family. :p

My cousin has a Shih Tzu x Yorkshire Terrier and her boyfriend who she lives with recently adopted a sickly, elderly Pomeranian.

My aunt and uncle have a German Shepherd x Australian Cattle Dog x maybe something else that they adopted forever ago, she was in the papers and whatnot due to being found in the middle of Lake Superior.

My cousin has a suspected Boxer x Labrador Retriever he adopted.

Then no one else has dogs....my aunt and uncle might be getting my little cousins a Puggle puppy for Christmas - so could be that!

My brother has a Lab/Husky Mix. We think maybe he has dane in him too. Not sure, though he's just a great dog.

My aunt has a chihuahua and a chihuahua/pekingese female who is a total gremlin.

And my grandpa has a poodle who is super old I swear he's going to live forever.

Aunt #1: A giant schnauzer, and she had a chocolate lab up until a few weeks ago when it passed away. She also had an ACD that died a few years ago (at the ripe old age of 17!)

Aunt #2: Two Golden Mt. Dogs (Golden/BMD. They are brothers and from a breeder). Before that she had a purebred golden, and before that a corgi.

Cousin #1: Little 14-year old beagle mix she got from the humane society last year. Before that she had a chocolate lab.

Cousin #2: Australian Shepherd

Grandma: She used to have 6 dachshunds, but the numbers have slowly dwindled over the years so now she only has two left.

My one uncle has a Doberman. Half brother to Ripley.

My grandparents have a Cocker Spaniel and a Boston Terrier x Chihuahua mix.

My other grandma used to have a Tibetan Spaniel who tragically passed in September. She will likely get another in a year or two. But I'm trying to convince her to adopt a small adult dog instead as she doesn't really enjoy raising puppies.

I have another distant aunt who backyard breeds Frenchies. It's terrible.

Another aunt has a supposed Bouvier/wolf/pit bull/GSD mix. Looks like a GSD/pit bull to me. He's actually grown up to be really nice despite my aunt not knowing much about dogs or how to raise them.

I think that's all. Most of my family do not have dogs.

My parents: Lab x and a lab.
Uncle 1: 2 Shih Tzus (I think) and a Yorkshire Terrier. He did have a Golden Retriever but my aunt didn't like it and made him get rid of it.
Uncle 2: A Golden Retriever and a Giant Schnauzer x .
Uncle 3: A Cavalier King Charles Spaniel
Grandparents: My granny used to breed Golden Retrievers. She had several dogs at Crufts. Now I think she just has 3.

That's funny how most of the members came from pretty pet-less families. I guess if you're going to be down with the dog thing it will happen regardless.

My immediate family really enjoys pets, but we don't have a ton.

My grandma has two American Cockers, Kylie (5) and Murphy (11)
My aunt has a 10 yr old bichon x shih tzu mix.
Then I have Duke.

Not very many at all. My mom, dad, and sister all have cats. My other more distant families don't have dogs at all. When I was younger we had two family dogs, but my mom gave them both away after two years or so of having them. Bailey who was a lab x BC, and Jayda our pomeranian.

My mom can't have dogs where she lives now, so she sadly has no dogs, just cats. (much loved cats, though :) )

I have an aunt with a super cute Alaskan Klee Kai and another with a GSD and two Shih tzus :)

On my in-law side, my MIL has a Pom and a Shih Tzu and I believe she fosters a small dog here and there for the local no kill shelter

My FIL and his wife (Step-MIL?) have one Border Collie/ACD mix type dog

My BIL and SIL have a medium sized mix of who knows what :)

Dad's Side:
No one at this time. However, they've owned dogs previous to this.

My cousin had a Bichion. She passed at the age of 16.

My Grandma took in a English Sheepdog mix, when a neighbors house burned down .

Uncle had a Chow.

Mom's Side
My Grandma owned many different types of herding dogs, when she lived in Ireland. Don't know of breeds. Then when she had children, she branched out. Two GSD's. A JRT mix. A Labrador. Unknown terrier mixes.

My Cousin has a Miniature Schnauzer.

One of my aunts use to own a Samoyed. Her dog passed away.

That's all(I think)!

Dad has a Catahoula Leopard Dog (9) and a Coton de Tulear (13)

My maternal grandfather had standard poodles for ages when I was growing up (don't know if he still does).

My paternal uncle has two hound-y mixes (6 months and 4)

Not a hugely doggy family here I guess!

My parents have a a GSD, 2 Shih Tzus, and a beagle/chi mix

On my moms side, my great grandma (rip) and her daughters, most all of them have chihuahuas or chi mixes. My great aunt raised a couple chihuahua poodle x litters, too. My one (more distant) cousin has Enlgish Setters and she loves the heck out of them like I do mine. Another (also, more distant) has boxers. I have some reeeal distant cousins that I don't really know at all but I do know they have pittys and might've even raised a few litters.

My grandma on my dads side has a toy Eskimo. Love that dog! Good thing, too, because if sometng happens to where they can't keep her, I promised I would take her in and keep her forevers.

My sister has Wesley, obviously
Cleo is mostly my Dad's dog.
Aunt has a cockapoo and a maltese, both from puppy mills (online buying ), and an ancient chihuahua mix from a shelter.
Annnnd that's it, none of my parents other living relatives have dogs, although growing up my moms parents had a lot of different dogs... Small dogs, GSDs, her stepmom showed westies. Both her parents are dead now though.
