So next weekend is a total birthday marathon :( I have no idea what to get anyone. The hardest though is my boyfriend. -.- I can find something for my mom easy, because shes my mom. I've known her for about 21 years now, so much easier. :p
My boyfriend, however, is HARD. When I ask him, what do you want for your birthday, he just says "nothing" or "You don't have to get me anything."
I know he's completly over worked, mostly because he works 11-13 hours a day, if not more. He hasn't had a vacation in about 2 years. I'd LOVE to get him something like that, but I just can't aford it right now.
He loves music, but basically already has everything. (Except a new guitare, but thats another 800€ -.-)
Anyone have any ideas? Men are so difficult to get gifts for. :(

Does he have a favorite music store that he likes to buy from? I don't know what your budget is, but if he has a favorite music store, perhaps getting him a gift certificate to that store.
It may not be to buy some huge, expensive purchase, but you'd be AMAZED at what things like guitar strings, picks, maintenance products can cost, and those are the things that really add up after a while.
I know that some may think GCs are a very impersonal thing to buy for a loved one, but you can make it personal. :D

You could always see if you could do a local getaway for the two of you somewhere in the country :) Or just plan a day trip somewhere great, take him for a romantic picnic.. Just to relax.

Yeah I thought about that too. :) I thought about heading up to Berlin for 2 nights, or something like that, since hotels aren't all too expensive up there (Siriously 39€ for a 3 star hotel? Thats central... can't really complain). *And* it's something I'm not paying for right off the bat. As in I'd making him a gift certificate for a weekend in Berlin (or enter other location here.).

Are any of his favorite bands coming to town in the next couple months? I like to give tickets to concerts or sporting events to DH.
