bed bug sniffing dogs

Mom told me there is a great need for sniffer dogs in the NY. That the city is infested with bed bugs and dogs are being used to find em...anyone else heard about this?

I have heard they have big problem with bed bugs. I won't be visiting that city...gross!

but dogs sniffing them out? how cool is that!!! She said how they train them, something about a container with some of them in it. and oh i hate recalling something i heard barely, sigh..and of course other containers of other bugs. I wanted to know if anyone had seen a dog do that, or had heard anymore on this subject! Like how much does a bedbug sniffing dog get paid!?

A bed bug sniffing dog. Wow. I didn't know you could really catch bed bugs to let the dogs get the smell in the first place. Somebody google.com or ask.com and see if there is a story.

See up here in Cana-duh, we live in igloos and have no idea what a "bug" really looks like in person lol its too cold to have 'em.

I know their sense of smell is so keen.. so I'm not surprised. Bushwacker found my early melanoma. Chip is very interested with ALL the cemetery smells , when we visit Tom's bench. Now, I thought it could be the heat here, as Chip prefers the floor to my bed ..... I'll change my sheets now !!
