I did a little shoot about a week ago for the rescue that I volunteer/foster for, to get some decent pictures of a dog we've taken in that is in need of some expensive surgery so that we could apply for grants. She's finally healthy from having pneumonia? I believe, so they are getting ready to schedule her first surgery to fix her legs! Her foster mom told me the vet believes she had some genetic deformities at birth that were made much worse by trauma at a young age. She gets around just fine now and is the SWEETEST, but the vet anticipated a lot of pain and problems later on down the road and recommended the surgeries. I just wanted to share some pictures, I love the dogs who have been through the ringer and still have so much happiness in their hearts.

Aww she is such a cutie and omg those eyes! I'm glad that she will hopefully be getting that surgery to prevent her pain later on in life!

That looks like premature closure of the growth plate to me. First time I have seen that in a pitty breed. It almost looks like extreme knuckling that was not corrected when she was a baby.

It looks like she is in fantastic hands now though. Her life has definitely been upgraded.
