I've always wondered this. Pretty much all my friends drink Monsters or redbulls... I want to try one, I hear redbulls are eww but monsters are a lot better.
I drink coffee.. Aren't they sorts the same thing, giving energy and all?
I mostly wonder because I take lots of pills, and wouldn't want stuff the affect them.

TIA :D

I only drink water 99% of the time, but as an occasional treat since i dont like soda I buy a redbull :) they are yummy and keep me peppy during study sessions or when ive gotta be all excited for kenyas agility class

i think drinking them all the time might be bad, but once in a while its fine.

I like red bull myself. TOo much is bad. If you have kidney issues it isn't real good. I usually make sure i drink a lot of water afterwards because i do.

I've been tempted quite a few times... just don't want to bother if they don't really work. I guess I don't need 'energy' as much as something to wake me up sometimes.

I need it pumped in inveinously but than again fatigue is my number one complaint. THere are days all the redbull and caffine and other stuff i am not suppose to have will help, that would be today. I drink two a week on my worst days. I don't know if with your health problems it would be a good idea. ARE you allowed soda and such? Does caffiene bother you?

I personally prefer the taste of Redbull over Monster. I think Monster has too much processed sugar and taurine in it, while Redbull has more of the Vitamin B's. If I'm going to drink an energy drink, I usually stick with Lost 5-0 Juice...50% juice with some Monster tossed in.

If we get right down to it, I really like those 6 hour Energy Shots. They have a ginormous amount of B vitamins and Niacin, which is really what keeps you going and only a little bit of sugar. They don't taste all that nice, so I chill them and then take it like you would a whisky shot, stiff-wristed and in one motion. There's no crash at the end either, like I get with the normal energy drinks.

I loooove sugar free Redbull. I don't think they're too bad for you on occasion. I have one probably every couple of weeks or so... I've probably had more this week than I've ever had before since I work in accounting and it's been a crazy week.

And I like those 5 hour energy things... the only time I've ever had them were when we drove to and from TN this winter.

Everything in moderation.

If you're concerned about it interacting with your meds, that's a question for a pharmacist and/or doctor :)

Ali, I'd ask you doctor just to be sure it doesn't affect any of the meds you're on.

Once in a while I like a sugar free red bull, I mix it with some flavor and ice. Although I don't allow my 13 year old to drink it.

About the size of a red bull, and soooooo much more effective. Two of these kept me wide awake on an 8 hour drive from Denver to KC. Also, it's very very delicious.

I don't think they're very good for you. Just like coffee and such aren't to good for you either. (I drink like 5 cups of coffee a day). However, I do drink the occasional red bull before going clubbing or such, espaically if Im driving or taking the train home. On the other hand it gives me an unsetteled stumach because of IBS. (Sorry, TMI)
