The little companion breeds are appealing to me recently. I've grown very fond of some very sweet Shih Tzu's lately, which is probably the root of this trend.

My most recent petfinder wants:

Adoptable Pekingese: Peppy: Petfinder
This dog belongs on that "Dogs who look like Falcor" site.

Adoptable Chihuahua: Snowflake: Petfinder
I'm not usually drawn to Chi's... I don't know what it is about this one.

Adoptable Shih Tzu: Q: Petfinder
Seriously! He looks like he's full of p!ss and vinegar, and has quite the "strut". So cute :)

Adoptable Pug: Gigi: Petfinder
Aah! I don't see any Pug in her, but I do see ADORABLE!

Help me. What the heck is going on?!

I'm definitely not a Pekingese person, but that one (Peppy) is one of the cuter ones I've seen.

Of course I'd snatch up Snowflake. :)

I'd take all those little dogs and I am not even a small dog person! Little dogs are so darn cute though and I love cuddling with little dogs that fit on pillows. I spend the weekend at my aunts who has 2 toy sized dogs, two small dogs and one large boned but short JRT (and a huge black lap/shep cross). It was so much fun to have the little ones all in my lap, up at my head et c. I could cuddle all the dogs at once!

Small dogs are awesome! :)

I always thought I was a big dog person, after growing up with big dogs. But since getting Jackson, I just love small dogs. My dad also now has 2 small dogs. My mom had gotten a small dog, who passed away. Our family has turned into small dog people! haha.

Snowflake is ADORABLE! The others are too, but obviously the chi is my favorite ;)

Small dogs are awesome.
I think she has a particular draw to me because not only is she CUTE, but my childhood dog was named Snowpuff.

I don't know what it is guys. I like all dogs really, but I'm at heart a "big dog" person! I want a Newfie for goodness sake! LOL

We had a customer in the store yesterday with her two dogs... an Irish Wolfhound, and a YORKIE! It was stinking adorable. Apparently the Yorkie rules the house :)

That is so funny - after years of owning only large dogs we have a tiny terrier and now wondering if we should stick to the small breeds...wonder if we're getting older and the smaller ones are easier to care for?

I've always liked small dogs. I've had people ask me how can such a big guy have a small dog. Then their was the time I went to the dog park and some lady was laughing because my truck is so big and out comes a little dog. She on the other hand had a huge dog in a small car that the dog was crouched down when standing up in the back of the car. My comment to her was I think we need to trade vehicles. :rofl1:

Wow, I'd take all four in a heartbeat, really like Peppy and Snowflake though! Can't say I'm really a big or small dog person, any will do for me. :p
