The last of the Alaska pics. I realized I only posted Denali and animals. So here's the scenery! I honestly tried to narrow them down, I did....

Denali Park

(the shards are the old sign that was eaten by the bears... hence the spikes)

McKinley river bar trail

McKinley River Bar, probably the most desolate place I've ever seen but oh so beautiful! It's the traditional road people take to climb Mc Kinley/Denali

To give you an idea of perspective, the River bar is 3 miles wide and supposedly after the first 20 minutes you can't feel your feet.

Denali wasn't out that day though so you can't see it.

Love them!

And see? The sky really is that blue! People accused me of altering the color of my own phots, which were taken with a crappy digi cam back in 2002-2004 (year depends on the pic). But I never touched any of the pics up!

And the sunsets! All the pinks and yellows versus the oranges and reds..........

It really is.

My best friend lived in Achorage for 5 years and that was some of the best time of my life. She's no longer there so I don't have any excuse to go back up there now. :(
