Welcome to the agility world, btw the best place for info and agility stuff is www.cleanrun.com
One of the best investments that you will make is ordering a subscription to the magazine.

Agility is great! I was actually just talking to a friend who works on construction sites, asking him to keep an eye open for different materials so I can make my own agility course in the backyard. Mike LOVES doing agility. I'm hoping we'll be able to start competing at some point this year, but of course it will depend on my work schedule. Booooo

Yes, Ahem. the weave poles can be a bummer. Zoey is still wokring on her weaves, I wanted to trial her this summer, but we have to master the weave poles first, boo hooo! :(

I don't know what clubs are available near you, but there are a lot of classes that don't use the weaves. I know a friend started in CPE, and their novice classes don't have weaves or the see-saw.

Meg is great on the weaves - now if I could just get her contact on the A-frame figured out.

when we do weave poles, the trainer said that it is easier to do it backwards to start with, but after you have mastered that, you should really do it normally (forwards!)
